Hi guys had a conversation with a single bloke in a swingers club a few weeks ago, he said he’d swung for years now, where as me and my partner only soft swing at most but love the lifestyle, and love seeing her dress up, or down should I say, while we have sex on the same beds as others,
Is single people having sex with other people still called swinging, don’t you need to swap couples or partners to actually swing? Just a thought

swingers was a couples thing alot still see it as only couples are swingers i see it as we've moved on with the times and in my mind its no longer swingers its more swinging as in a scene of couples and singles...
another thing on this scene take what some say with a pinch of salt as some people will say anything to get into someones knickers/boxers |

I think the premise of swinging has somewhat evolved over the years ,swinging in its rawest form was an act of sexual liberation that was for anyone , then wife swapping came along where males would swap wives for a sexual encounter , wife swapping is a branch of the swinging lifestyle . I think it's moved on from the times of the keys in the fruitbowl . I don't think swinging is just for couples . |

We think of it under the ‘lifestyle’ umbrella.
Many peoples interpretation wouldn’t be possible without single people joining in
We started out thinking it was all about couple swapping. But we’ve had a load of fun, sexual and not with single guys and girls.
Our view has changed and we think more about “what do you bring to the lifestyle”.
Have fun

I would say swinging includes ethical, non-traditional sexual encounters that involve, to a greater or lesser degree, more than two people.
So singles that meet couples or one of a couple, but not necessarily singles that only meet singles, or those posing unethically as single.
But it really doesn't matter, if singles want to call the traditional act of sex 'swinging' so be it, unlike some 'labels' I can't see how it would affect anyone else. K. |
