Does your age bother you??
Outside the world of fab it doesn’t as I still attend gigs and drink like a pirate however within the realms of fab it’s does as I’m on the wrong side of 45 and not hit the 50 club yet.
Oh I’m 48 by the way |

Nothing really, there is no solution, I was just pondering whether like myself there are others out there a little annoyance at the nothingness age |

No I still pull a lot especially in real life. But despite that, I accept aging as you cannot fight a losing battle. Embrace it, we are all going the same way |

"Closer to 60 these days, but still think I'm 26!
Still active but find my age now the restricts the people who have the age open past that.
Don't look my age and all in fine working order."
I still go round my daily business with the mental age of 27, rather a bizarre age to think of but that’s what age pops off my tongue when people ask |

"At the moment my age really doesn't bother me but ask again in 10months time as I will be 60. Not looking forward to that birthday."
If I was female I’d be mighty happy looking like you do with your young age xx |

No my age doesn't bother me in general.
Every now and again I notice a new age related 'thing' e.g. wrinkly hands and briefly consider doing something about it but I'm too lazy and forget about until the next thing comes along.
Life seems very short when there's less in front than there is behind. |

I'll give you the same answer I've given on every age thread since I started using the forums 4 years ago.
I didn't join this site until I was 52.
I've never once had a conversation about my age and it has never been a factor in meeting or not meeting.
If I'm outside someone's age filters then I'm outside them just like many are outside mine.
It doesn't frustrate at all because there are lots of people who are looking for men my age. |

Yes, quite frankly I have an existential crisis about it every fucking week.
People will say "Oh you're only 22" as if that's a consolation. I have experienced more than a quarter of my expected lifespan. In 18 years I will be closer to my death than my birth if I live to the standard life expectancy, as a person who has vivid memories of being 4 years old, that terrifies me knowing that death is so close.
Ageing is my number one enemy aswell as my number one fear.
Ageing is a disease. It baffles me that extending human lifespans isn't on anyone's priority list. |

"Yes yes yes it bothers me, I feel like I'm in my 30s but it also bothers others as alot of women don't want guys over 45"
Is what I’m getting at I know people have an age preference however there are people out there like myself who don’t portray the age they are meant to be and yet look younger, my age doesn’t bother me only on here where people are like sheep and just follow the norm and think the cut off point is 45 but I guess it is their preference. To be frank it wouldn’t bother me if I was to become a sugar daddy |

My age does not bother me at all i've always kept myself very fit and still do. I did an 8 mile run yesterday in 1hr 20 minutes at a steady pace. Look much younger for my year's always get told No way are you 60 + i turn 63 this month.
Age is just a number i still feel as if i'm in my 30's. |

"I don't think it's my age that bothers me, but I'm sure starting to feel the effects of being in my mid-40s more significantly than I did in my 30s, that's for sure! "
This!
My age is grand (I’m a big child at heart)….but the little things catching up on me are what get me. Youth really is wasted on the youth. |

Yes I agree with the sheepish 45 years cut off , who made that number up? I understand freedom of choice etc, but it just feels a bit bias not being able to message a friendly hello, even an unwanted sexy tender could simply be ignored let alone a “fuck off you old fogey” easie’s. I guess it’s my first taste of ageism and what a shame, wonder how many exciting encounters are missed because of a number pulled out of a hat instead of first impressions, physical attraction, interest and daring instinct for fun and variety . |
