We are looking for a nice hotel on the first weekend of May, preferably somewhere where we might end up bumping into a couple or single.

The only downside to the Titanic is it's a bit of a walk outside the main city/waterfront. You have the Hilton, Malmaison, Crowne Plaza all on the Strand where the 3 Graces are plus plenty of other 4 star hotels in amongst the nightlife
