Chester is a very prudish city, the lap dancing club had very strict rules placed on it, and it closed very quickly.
But you do have the amazing Townhouse in Birkenhead (about 18 miles away). Yes its a bit of a drive away from the city, but its well worth a visit. You will need to book tickets for the night you attend as they do not allow people to arrive at the door and enter. But its a good website with details on all the perties

+1 to this. I'm a local-ish person and I can attest the the city is painfully vanilla (although I am happy to be proved wrong).
The Townhouse is definitely worth the drive though! I live a fair distance away and even used to make the trip by public transport followed by a taxi back. Vicki (owner) is always friendly along with the staff, they'll show you round and people tend to be approachable and friendly. |
