How many of you have your privacy set so you can browse without someone knowing you’ve looked at them?

What’s your main reason for doing it?

We do, if we remove the hidden feature then many see a view as an invite to message, it's not, we are just nosey bastards.

I do. Because if someone sees you looked at there profile they automatically think you are interested (even if you haven't left any indication that you are) and they hound with messages. So it's easyer to just hide away xx

If you look at single guys profiles and they can see you’ve looked you can guarantee a message from them that why it’s set to hidden

I don’t get why people do it when they have been chatting with you then all of a sudden hide the profile, if your not for them then why don’t they just say, people should respect each other.

People hide their profile for a range of reasons, such as too many messages, unwanted attention from an individual, to finding out a coworker or family member is on the site.

But you can still message them, even if their profile is hidden. The only reason you won't be able to message them is if they have blocked you specifically.
