The ones you buy in the shops are really underpowered, it's going to take a year or longer to see results at best, and your not hitting the hairs at the right timing either. Go to a clinic and get it done with a commercial machine L, with the right power, and the right advice to remove the hair.
A commercial machine costs anything from a few thousand to £15k+, and it costs that for a reason.
Also, you want to go for the diode over ipl, some machines have triple diode wavelengths that hit the hairs at 3 depths to fully kill the follicle. Done every 2-3 weeks to hit the hairs when they are in their growth cycle, 6 session of a good machine will give you permenant hair loss as long as your hairs are dark enough. |

"I’m looking at getting an IPL device for permanent hair removal
Do they work or do I need to go to specialist hair removal salon/ beautician "
I had an ex that tried a few and none of them worked for her with permanently removing the hair. I don’t know if any ladies on here have had any better luck with them but for my ex partner they where told it needed to be proper laser removal treatment (I think, if that sounds correct to ladies that know more about it). She never tried it though so couldn’t say if that is any better at permanently removing the hair and how many treatments it requires x |
