Just chatting to a couple and arranged a meet, went to message them and was informed their address no longer exist, all mail between us was deleted.
Why do people do this, you either want to meet or want to be on the site, not talking and then delete your profile |

I think part of the problem with this site is the inability of the administration team to properly verify who is who.
Folks disappear for a variety of reasons, but if it's because they can delete the account and create another one at almost zero cost, that's not good for the legiticy of the other members.
A well known German site requires new members to scan their national identity card to the admin team for verification before the account goes live. A very efficient German system dare I say |

Would guarantee nobody creating multiple fake accounts, and scare away nervous newbies |

Are you absolutely sure you were talking to a couple, not a M posing as a couple?
You have no idea what the dynamic is for them, could be something between them which caused them to unlos.
Complaining about it isn’t a good look and won’t solve anything. Maybe they just decided it’s not for them. Agreeing to meet isn’t a contract.

Some times real life gets in the way and I know it should be but not everything is about you op.
Don’t stress and move on to the next hopeful meet.

Generally speaking, long term site users that are well verified and have detailed profiles with multiple public photos are far less likely to just suddenly vanish than a new profile, an unverified one or one with scarce info and little effort put into it.
You can do much to limit the risk of engaging with a soon to vanish profile.
Not 100% guaranteed to prevent disappointment but generally true. |

Very similar to the op.
I was messaging a couple, who I'd been chatting to, for a couple of months. Hit the send button and message bounced.
Searched for them and nothing, no trace.
About two weeks later I found them again. For around two days, the messages flowed. Then I couldn't send messages to them. But their old messages, I could access at the time.
Just hope it wasn't me that got them banned, twice in as many days. |

They should make everyone do some sort of verification of shut their profile down. I exchanged 65 messages with a couple, wouldn't send me a pic when asked. I should have been suspicious at they messaged first. Only the second time that's happened! |
