I think they look best quite high with just a bit of thigh. Love all styles if sheer. Eg hold ups or with suspenders. If with suspenders I like the stocking top to be straight, not pulled taught by the straps!
Just what a treat though to see them being worn. The sexiest item of clothing I think a female can wear.

definentley need to be high up.
lovely when worn with a dress or a skirt and as you sit in a pub with your legs crossed the skirt/dres hangs at the side giving a glimpse of the flesh above the stocking top
dont know why but they have to be plain topped ones to turn me on looking , the lacy topped ones do nothing , remind me of net curtains  |

Definitely as high up as possible for me. Love to see my suspender straps stretching the tops of my stockings. Have to get the right size though if wearing vintage real nylons which are my favourite. |

Those are not fishnets.
Also biggest height is still notably shorter than me, and are also meant for fatter thighs so wouldn't actually hold up on me |

Do you have an issue with the bands folding, when it is high on your thighs?
As most of the hold ups that I wear high up, I find the band folds on me. |

I prefer traditional suspenders fastened ‘high and tight’ … that way, I can feel the nylon swishing together as I walk .. and can hear it too!! … and I do find that if stockings are lower, my thighs tend to get a bit sore.
I too sometimes wear hold ups, but again, prefer a long length - I don’t want to be showing stocking tops under a skirt! … well most likely of time
