When I was single and doing the Tinder thing I was surprised at how many girls much fitter than me were matching with me. (And yes my pictures showed that middle aged spread).
When it came up on date I was often told they didn’t like super toned guys because that may be an indication that they care more about their body than anyone else.

I used to be self concious of mine.
I did excercise but not to the extreme.
I chose to have more focus on my job and family rather than my appearance but I find as I get older that concious seems to disappear and realise it’s not all about what you got on the outside |

There’s a profile near us who has a great body, you can tell he works really hard in the gym and is very proud of his body; unfortunately that appears to be his entire persona. Consequently we don't look twice at him.
Much prefer a dad bod attached to someone with a bit of personality! |

define dad bod ?? why not just be honest with your size rather than hide it under one banner that means pretty much any size ?? same with mums bods just be honest with your acual size you are what you are |

Definitely a dad bod here, but would like to get to 12.7stone, that's where my clothes fit me better, more confident, run better and enjoy 5asides more, not all about being vain, just makes me happier for a lot of different reasons |

This indicates that you are unable to express yourself as well online.
Whilst a nice looking face might initially catch my eye, I don't like the look of overly muscular men and have never in my life considered cock size as a reason for having sex with a man.
His personality will always win out in the end. This is why clubs are often a much better option for men who are less able to express themselves well in text.
Also a positive attitude is always better than a negative one.

I've lost track of the amount of detailed messages I've sent out that remain yellow for all time, with members who are on every day, the sheer volume of mail single females and couples must recieve means plenty get missed.
So the first message gets trimmed down, face picture added and a snippet from having read through a profile. Usually if it's not read when they are online at that initial time it never gets opened.
I'm happy when they are read and deleted, at least I know they aren't interested and can move on.

Not true that mate.. we only get attention off men especially on here. my inbox is full of offers from men but I'm not that way inclined but they are relentless..haha.

dad bod mums bod is just a cop out of trying to make yourself sound better without actually describing your real size ....just be honest stop hiding behind a term thars not a body size or shape most men and women are mums n dads from slim to large ....
its like the other term rugby build look at how that was dunno what type of rugby they are playing but it dont include running on a rugby pitch thats for sure

Unashamedly got a dad body minus the aspect of being a dad... its about character not aesthetics looks will always desert the person personality sustains after looks attract but attraction can be a distraction for real beauty of who a person actually is.. |

when I was in the army I was very fit and into weights ect but I haven't noticed any difference physical attraction different types of women maybe but not really any difference in numbers I find once you get talking to them its the personality that count's. That unfortunately is where places like this fall down for single straight guys |
