"I agree, should be able to give negative feedback.
Too many times we have been let down last minute by single guys, after getting hotels etc.
Get away with it "
That would be a very easy system to lie on. |

I suspect it's not possible but....if there was a "three strikes" rule i.e. 3 negative verifications/ratings by couples or females and you get an easily identifiable symbol on your profile (the opposite of a green tick for instance)
That would only be removed when you've subsequently achieved 3 more positive verifications/ratings from couples/females.
If such a system were feasible and to protect it from abuse,it would only be fair if those contributing the negative rating were themselves well verified and active Fab users.
Just a thought from me who admittedly never 'meets' [in the Fab sense of the word at least] but who sees the frustration often expressed by couples/females who are Fabswingers lifes blood. |

Get away with it " most couples refuse to pay upfront for a hotel if meeting a single guy, and as a single here, I don’t blame them. |

You should report them on here. There's a category for it on the report form. I've no idea what happens after that though

There are many single guys on here who prey on 'fresh meat' and take liberties that they wouldn't get away with, with verified experienced people. So the suggestion of not giving credence to the feedback of newbies is a dangerous notion.
There should definitely be ways of reporting an permanently banning bad behaviour from the site. Although the anonymous nature of a site that's not backed by ID means they can just start again on a new profile.
I'd never give someone a verification for poor behaviour. They are generally seen as positive things, in that it shows they're actively meeting people, so even if they don't display them, their count gets freshened up. You'd be helping them to meet others.
The only thing is to report them - for your sake and the wider community.

I think we are all missing the point of verification on here. This is not a naughty TripAdvisor, the veris are here just to say the person turned up (that particular time) and they were who they said they were. They give no guarantee they will turn up for another arranged meet, or that the meet is going to be amazing. |

The issue with a system that people can leave negative reviews is that some people would abuse it. Imagine if someone messaged you for a meet but they weren't your type so you do the classic delete message without responding. That person then leave a negative verification hardly fair is it. |

This - it's about reliability rather than quality. It might be useful to have a function for the no-shows, but I guess that would be too open to abuse. |
