Because if they say they're looking for single males their inbox gets drowned.
Saying they don't but reaching out to those who actually interest them is a lot easier than dealing with the constant stream of unwanted penii in the inbox  |

Sometimes curiosity, sometimes because we recognise them from a club and sometimes we might be interested in the guy.
Going from 50+ messages to day to 2-3 makes life more manageable and we don't get as many messages going "luv bbw mmm wot u looking for" |
