So what do you consider to be too many verifications
I've just been told that someone won't meet me as I have too many. I have 9 on my profile! I didn't think this was a problem but apparently it is!
Are we here to judge or to swing? Can you really do both?
My reply was that maybe this lady should look on a dating site rather than a swingers site if people having sex with multiple partners is an issue lol |

I have quite a few veris and to be honest if someone told me that there were too many, or they didn't like what was written on them, or they didn't like who I'd met, I would have to say that they weren't the sort of people I want to meet.
I use this site the way I want to so ignore people who are essentially telling me how they want me to behave. |

I avoid meets with those that have several verifications from the same person as I've had past experience of jealous clingy woman who seem to think that if you meet someone more than once you have a claim to them

Hmm veris are all you have thats independant of your sales pitch, sorry profile! Lol. Yes its true that we can choose to post or not but the commpliments are still independant. More recent veris are the best we feel as this site is in effect a journey of exploration of our sexual boundaries, and along the way we change our thoughts. And most of usget better as we learn a new trick or two! Lol
That said people should just say no thanks not my type after all. If you arent ging to meet does it really matter why when there are so many nice people still waiting to meet us all! Lol have fun people  |

It depends, we have been contacted by people who say "we see you have met with x and y, we have met them too, when do you want to meet us?"  .
Otherwise as others have said its entirely up to the individual how many verifications they post or how they interpret the amount people have on their profile.
We only show a couple to indicate that we are genuine and will turn up.  |

I've had veris from the same person 3 times. She's not the slightest bit clingy and we both encourage each other to have sex with others. I've seen a profile with 70+ veris and a lot were from clubs where lots of people had met them. I was v impressed |

I dont have many veris either, perhaps that is why I dont get many messages. Im obviously not prolific enough with dishing out the sex. Luckily ive got my reg chatbuddy back and I know we are definately going to meet up.  |

You have to let people go if they say no for any reason. I have friends with veris going into the 70s and they are still my friends. I do wonder sometimes why people show so many because at the end of the day you only really need one to show you are real but each to his own. Be true to yourself and sod anyone else.
The only offputting thing is going to be from an sti point of _iew, the more people you meet the more at risk you are, but you could get one of those from a single meet (just from oral, even with safe sex) so...

ive got to be honest, I find that a weird ting to say, why would you encourage someone you lay no claim to to have sex with others?

Keep saying people read far too much into veris, and the veri system itself sometimes creates more problems than it attempts to solve or prevent.
If anyone has a problem with how many you have, who they are from, what they say etc etc, then maybe you're the winner in as much as you were probably saved from a problem somewhere down the line with that person/couple.
Personally, I'm only interested what myself and the other person can offer each other, not what they did or did not do with or for anyone else. Their veris (by meeting) just prove that they are a real person and not potentially a fake, as do mine.. |

I have also been told i have to many veris, even though some are from men i have met when i first joined Fab 2 years ago and met again when i came back. For me if anyone has an issue with anything on my profile, whether it be verifs, pics, the wording on my profile, there is a simple remedy, don't message me or ask to meet. It's no great loss after all there are thousands of very sexy men on here for me to choose from. |

No matter what you do with your profile you are going to get some people who will not like it. I do agree though that somebody would not want to meet you because you had meet a few people already is a bit strange considering this is a swingers website. |

I am not put off by lots of verifications, and, if someone is put off by mine, then they are not the type of person I am willing to meet. I do not change my profile based on any stranger's point of _iew. They do not know me and have no say in what I do. |

I don't display all my veri's either on this account or on our couples account, but the only ones we hide are due to explicit details; probably not of interest to others reading it; accidental double submissions; very bad grammar/spelling :P
All in all, we put up what looks good and what keeps tone with our profiles. There's no such thing as 'too verified' to us, especially to club goers who can 'meet' twenty people in a night without even getting their kit off. |

When someone has been on the site for a rather long time e.g. since 2009, would it not be best to choose out of those 'older' veri one or two that you feel are the best ones to show the progression mentioned earlier rather than keep all of them? I have been 'put off' by the amount that was displayed, and I am an avid reader of profiles and veri. It is everyone's choice after all but from a newbie's point of _iew, it made me a little uncomfortable as my immediate reaction was - I do not want to be another 'notch' on the bedpost.  |

The amount of veris doesn't bother me too much but who has verified them does.
It stems back to when I was talking to a guy verified as nice, friendly, respectful, genuine, non pushy etc only to find out it was bollocks and the guy was a sick psycho
Since then I'll look at the veries and see if its a small group of friends, or if they had verified the nutter I steered cleared of them.
Goes back to everyones different though, some want veris shown, some don't, some want loads, some don't etc etc |

The only verifications i dont like are really graffic ones, thats cause i get the impression they are more than happy to tell the world about the intimate parts of there meet blow by blow, so they may feel it appropriate to discuss me with others. Plus - don't forget you can't account for any of the following:
People who play with multiple partners at clubs/parties that don't leave veri's or are on other sites,
Repeat meets that don't leave repeat veri's.
People who have profiles on other sites and meet through those and other means - including random meets in pubs/clubs.
People who meet from here and don't leave veri's for whatever reason.
There's endless variables that will affect the ratio of visible veri's to actual meets and activity! So the arguement of more = negative is one you have no full data to back up.
Personally I do have a peek through others veri's prior to meeting them/contacting them - I doubt anyone honestly doesn't. And yes i've chosen not to message some because of people they've met and 'inconsistencies' between their profile content, pictures and the wording in veri's. I find them a useful tool - one of many the site has - to aid me making my own decisions.
And if anything in mine causes people to decide not to get in touch - I won't lose a seconds sleep over it!

Don't show my verifications now, can't e believe the amount of trouble showing them can cause, but if someone asks to see them to prove to them I am who I say I am I tell them I will show them for 5 mins. I've been thinking about this recently do we show too many of ours, not all of our are play verifications some are just social but I think it shows we are genuine and both still playing as I know profiles change and people split up. If are verification put people off they are probably not for us |

Doesn't really matter how many verifications people show as long as they show some to prove they are genuine. A profile that only shows one may have another 50 hidden. |

Veri's show that your genuine someone who will meet/show etc - but they can also show your good at interaction with other people....if i accepted all veri's that where one sex session after another, then i am likley to get some bad press; but by acknowledging that you meet someone only shows your good at communication - be that physical or verbal....im sure some of that made sense lol  |

Also, people must realise that some profiles don't show all of their verifications? They might have 5 showing but may have had 500 veris!

The amount of veries not a problem to us... a good mix shows your reliable and progressing .. am sure each veri would be different, veries show others there could be something there that maybe the profile doesnt show .. |

You can never tell who is meeting who it however many people they display. I've met couples that say they will verify me would only show a few verifications by guys as it will look like they don't meet them often.
More recently though I was at a party, one of the women hadn't been on here for 3 Weeks, but was still shagging very freely, another couple weren't verified since September yet they were well in the think of it and are still not verified from it nearly a week later.
I don't think anybody can tell how active someone is just by their profile at all |

An interesting topic...
Verifications are worthy however, I do appreciate one persons opinion does not always give a true accurate account of person/persons personality and sexual experience as I'm sure we've all discovered for ourselves..
In the main if a profile has a high quantity of veris that are consistent it gives you a good idea of what to expect if your going to meet the person/persons..

I do wonder sometimes why people show so many because at the end of the day you only really need one to show you are real but each to his own. Be true to yourself and sod anyone else.
The only offputting thing is going to be from an sti point of _iew, the more people you meet the more at risk you are, but you could get one of those from a single meet (just from oral, even with safe sex) so...
Be who you are and do what makes you happy. Just be safe.
The more veris people have the more im put off, like you said the sti thing it bothers me. specially if they dont have safe sex
As ive just said, how do you know how many verifications someone has? Just because they may only display a few doesnt mean the rest are not hidden

Plus - don't forget you can't account for any of the following:
People who play with multiple partners at clubs/parties that don't leave veri's or are on other sites,
Repeat meets that don't leave repeat veri's.
People who have profiles on other sites and meet through those and other means - including random meets in pubs/clubs.
People who meet from here and don't leave veri's for whatever reason.
There's endless variables that will affect the ratio of visible veri's to actual meets and activity! So the arguement of more = negative is one you have no full data to back up.
Personally I do have a peek through others veri's prior to meeting them/contacting them - I doubt anyone honestly doesn't. And yes i've chosen not to message some because of people they've met and 'inconsistencies' between their profile content, pictures and the wording in veri's. I find them a useful tool - one of many the site has - to aid me making my own decisions.
And if anything in mine causes people to decide not to get in touch - I won't lose a seconds sleep over it!

Our two cents:
This is a two edged sword. For every forum bitch - sorry, post - about too many veris, there are two complaining about fakers without any.
So, we took the _iew that as relative new comers to this - one year coming up - we wanted to be sure we displayed a variety of people we had met. We decided too that we did not want them to be mini pornos either, its our business after all.
What becomes increasingly obvious as we find our feet with this site is this:
Only your own judegment really counts. No amount of spoon feeding and filtering will replace that.
Getting hung up on who said what, when and how many times is a red herring.

Its not the number of verifications that put me off but often the content. prefer people to leave a little to the imagination as dont really need or want to know what someones spunk tasted like etc. But i like discretion. Others obviously dont. Each to their own as usual |

We never put those up. Only had a few like that but they lack class.
Mind if you read our verifications most are actually from not playing. Time wasters that we must clearly be lol |

We have a few but who cares,we visit clubs alot and meet lots of new people,some of our veri`s we have played with,some we have not and never will.
I like to show them all as think it gives a sense of how we like to play as well as socialise.xxx |
