"Surely in this day and age that's a racist remark
Why?
Why are they called ‘Queen of spades’ , work it out "
We attend BMFC parties and I asked quite a few guys that we know, what they thought of QoS tattoos before I bought some for Frisky.
100% of the guys liked it.
As we are also into a bit of light bdsm I bought Frisky a metal slave collar, again I asked the guys opinions before she wore it to a club.
Again 100% in favour, on the night both things caught guys attention in a totally good way.
I totally agree that we have to be careful not to offend other people but I think there is too much of "I'm offended on your behalf" now a days... |

Yes, which is why I asked quite a few guys we know from BMFC about the QoS tattoos before I bought some.
Not one of them thought it inappropriate, if any of them had, I wouldn't have bought them.
All of them thought it was a good ice breaker.
Obviously I know the half dozen or so guys I asked don't speak for all black people... |

No do enlighten me. Sounds like you are offended on behalf of a group of people who are only trying to attract each other. |

"Surely in this day and age that's a racist remark
It is. But there seems to be an acceptance of racial stereotyping excused as personal preference. "
May as well extend that to gender streotyping as well. How dare people only want to fuck those who they are attracted to. |

Back when I was single I used to "own" a cuckold couple. The girlfriend had a real QofF tattoo on her body.
What amazed me was the fact that she had it done before even being with a black guy. I was her first and exclusive lover at the time.
Those were good days |

This is a valid point, _rstrellis, have you seriously bought into all of this PC stuff, what has happened to I’m attracted to so and so and if you don’t like it coff, yes maybe QoS is an outdated term but it’s a recognised term to differentiate race people are attracted too
It’s nothing to do with racism, if anything I think you’re taking more offence than those that you think “should” be offended |

Why? yes, why is it racist? "
Referring to black men as 'spades' is derogatory and always has been derogatory.
The fact that people like to be blind to the meaning and others like to exploit those that are blind does not detract. Unfortunately I cant put links but here is an extract.
'Wolfgang Mieder notes that in the fourth edition of The American Language, H.L. Mencken's famous book about language in the United States, "spade" is listed as one of the "opprobrious" names for "Negroes" (along with "Zulu," "skunk" and many other words that I can't print here). Robert L. Chapman struck a similar note in his Thesaurus of American Slang (1989). "All these terms will give deep offense if used by nonblacks," warned Chapman, listing "spade" in a group that included words like blackbird, shade, shadow, skillet and smoke.'
The anology is this. The word 'slut' is a derogatory term. Some men on here call their partners 'slut' and those female partners call themselves 'sluts'. It does not mean it is acceptable to refer to other women as sluts, or that Slut is an acceptable term.

I'm pretty sure that no one on here would use the word spade to describe a black person, we personally don't use the term bbc either.
However the QoS symbol is now widely used to denote white women and couples that enjoy sex/ relationships with black guys.
We also belong to a couple of websites that specialise in black/ white sex and relationships.
QoS is extremely popular on there, they even have QoS of the month.
I understand that to some people it will always be offensive but to many others it isn't.
We would never intentionally offend any one on here or face to face but our experience with a QoS has only been positive. |

It is not a question of people seeking offence. I have contributed to other threads on this and my view has always been of all the offensive things people can say about black people, this is by far not the worst. But it is still offensive.
Think about it, do you see any black women using the term. Culturally if you are right they have more of a right to use it.
It is a term applied where a white women has a particular preference for black men. Have you outside of this situation seen black people identified with spades? I doubt it because it is seen as unacceptable .
The fact there are websites and it is used in a small circle of people does not make its use right. Gangster rappers used the 'N' word, it did not does not make it right to use that word.
My view in life is to pass on information in a polite way where people are of good will. |

Do you have an Inkjet printer? you can get decal paper that lets you produce your own.
Just do a search for inkjet temporary tattoo paper online.
Given that it's likely to go through once applied and the fact it may be exposed to moisture, i'd look at some way of sealing it. a good hairspray can work wonders

I totally get what you are saying.
However I think it will be difficult to find a symbol to replace it, as it's so established in the lifestyle, basically it's advertising.
We have been to clubs and even with winks and smiles no black guy has approached Frisky.
The same club attending with a black friend, loads of guys came over.
Having a black guy with us, showed that we are, looking for a better word, black friendly.
We only play with black guys but have had white guys try and chat her up, she says sorry not interested and gets told I wouldn't have sex with you anyway after you have been with a black guy.
We know couples that won't play with black guys...
So we can understand the reluctance of some black guys to approach couples in a club, which is why a symbol makes it easier.
Some people use the ying/yang sign but it's no where near as widely known.
Obviously away from swinging the word spade is derogatory, in fact I have never known the word to be used on its own.
It is either part of the QoS or the occasionally used Jack of Spades, which is reserved for the cuck.
We pretty much only attend BMFC parties where a little QoS tattoo has been very well recieved...

Thank you for your well reasoned and polite reply.
Despite what is said on Fab in my experience substantially more white women prefer white men than prefer black men. Therefore most black men in a normal club would not risk approaching a white couple without being sure that it would not cause offence.
However I can understand the dilemma, and I think at the BMFC, there would be less issue taken with the symbol and approaching a white couple.
I believe BMFC have their own articles.
My only suggestion as an alternative symbol would be to have something with the Jamaican flag on it. It could act as a conversation piece.
Interestingly enough there was a thread on here about hot wife anklets, possibly someone should work on an interracial version. |

I enjoy a well reasoned discussion and never set out to cause offence unless someone is rude or ignorant...
I like the idea of the Jamaican flag... |

I think this comment gets to the heart of the original topic-it is about a collection of people who are trying to find a way to attract each other. Whether the topic is "queen of spades" (which I personally am not offended by) or an interracial chat room, it is just another group of swingers trying to find others who share their particular interests. Hopefully, there will be a less (apparently) controversial way of a couple attract black males (I definitely love that group!) |

The whole concept of having a preference based on race is abhorrent to me and some of the comments on the thread seem to come out of a colonial mist of the past.
But I am sure some will disagree? |

Strange thing is I haven't seen any of the male equivalent, which would obviously be a 'King of Spades' t-shirt or tattoo for white men that only like black girls?
And before anyone comes out with the predictable "Blokes wouldn't be that choosy to rule out over half the women on the planet in such a way" I have two male friends that actually are. |
