Um, this sounds like you've had a bad experience with someone....
However can see your point to a degree, we do think sometimes there are profiles on here where people get all high and mighty on their high horses demanding X Y and Z just for the "privilege" of getting a reply back from them, or similar.

Some people (mainly single guys) on this site think that if they message you or fab a pic that they are somehow due something in return.

sorry op but the whole point of swinging is to have fun with whom ever you find fits what your looking for ie sexual attraction and the rest that goes with it .. its their choice not yours
exceptional is probably used as a good filter in hope that most wont bother messaging .. people have every rights to ask for that if you find that wrong then move on ..
see it alot of late far to many think that because you match with interest and tick boxes that they will meet you no matter what but they all forget about the attraction / compatibility this applies to all not just men neither...

I think 'exceptional' is so subjective it becomes pretty meaningless except to that person who wrote it. I agree it can be coupled with a ranty profile which I guess is designed to put the majority off. I'm not keen on those either but I'll just gloss over them.
I wouldn't sweat it though. Surely ignore and move on is the best approach? If the likes of that infuriate you I'd wager you'll have a stressful time on here! |

I agree. I prefer women on the lower end of the BMI scale but I don't say it in my profile. Many women and couples on here have too expectations. With me I've noticed many take a racial bent with me and I've had some demand I act thuggish, speak in broken English and act like a gang banger as that's their expecting of a black bull.. even some say I'm NOT BLACK ENOUGH for her fantasy

You will get blasted on here for commenting on it. The best ones are those who will pm you abuse and then block you before you can reply. You can’t even report them for being abusive once blocked. |

There are exceptional people on here.
We're exceptional to some, to other's we need putting out with the trash.
Just because this is a swingers site doesn't mean everyone wants to fuck anything with a pulse. Or that we should be expected to.
The sense of entitlement and disrespectful behaviour towards women that comes from many many single men on here never fails to amaze me considering this lifestyle is meant to be so liberated. I'm not surprised so many struggle for meets. Nor does it surprise me people writing spikey bios...we've ended up doing exactly that to put off them creatures, it's working well for us.

That comment made me wonder who in Fab is part of the "lifestyle". Single profiles looking for other single profiles? That's not swingers, that's using the site as a hook up site. Which is totally ok but it means mixing two groups of different people, or at least that have very different understandings of what swinging means.
Many men here (not all, maybe not even the majority, perhaps some women too), judging by their comments, they are not open minded. They are happy to cheat their own partners, and would never have their partners involved in "a sex site", etc. These men are not swingers in my opinion, hence the apparent constant clash of open minded people who see this as a "swingers lifestyle broadchurch" website with those that firmly believe this is only a hookup site for sex and everyone here is just looking that. |

The word exceptional really only means unusual or even untypical. Therefore, it's not really a massive sweat. It's a subjective description, as everyone's perception of 'usual' could be massively different.

Yes but in our modern vernacular it is attached to qualities deemed considerably above average rather than unusual when referencing someone's qualities. I don't think the people asking for exceptional are asking for a message from someone with a penis for a nose for example, *although I realise such devices exist - so maybe I'm wrong on this?
Either way, it's unimportant I agree. Don't like it?, like lots of things on here. Move on. |
