One of my jobs definitely has.
I had an issue at work and had to call a collague from another office down south.

I don't know that work helped, however I have met multiple people through work, some leading to relationships and some just wild fun. So in a sense it has, I actually find it difficult to just walk up to someone and chat them up, whereas via a platonic or working relationship I have had many great relationships. Whilst serving in the Royal Navy as an engineer I managed to get involved with one of the WRNS. We often got up to no good, in her mess, in my mess, getting BJs in various compartments around the ship was quite exciting.
I also managed to get with a female soldier whilst she was on one of our bases. Not sure who was happier with that one between us.
Also managed to get with one of the takeaway delivery drivers whilst in HMS Sultan. She tried the old missed call to my phone and struck up a dialect which ended up back at her parents house, we were a lot younger back then.

A couple of times, working at a cinema during my Uni days especially on late night Fridays and Saturdays i did get lucky a few times.

I was a barman in a nightclub and a few trendy bars in my late teens and early 20's (to suppliment my apprenticeship wages), and found that it was the easiest way to meet women.
I would get at least one phone number a night (bar staff party after the pubs and clubs close so we tend not to go home with d*unk customers) and then meet up in the week. I have never had so much sex |

I once met a famous footballer through work. Just in the same room together, said hello, he signed some stuff for some people - no real interaction.
Anyway, fast forward a few weeks and I met someone at a party who was so obsessed by said footballer, that she made it clear she wanted to sleep with me because I’d met him.
Her husband was present, but not sure if he was also as excited and knew or wanted to join in.

Not for a while, but when I was late teens and working in a pub I shagged the landlady loads of times while her hubby was asleep in the next room, thanks to after work drinks and hubby needing to be up early.
Couple of years after that I shagged a different boss’s daughter. I was 21 she was 18 and fit as.
Turned down the daughter of another bloke I worked with shortly after that. She really fancied me but I respected her dad too much to do anything ‘cos I didn’t want to hurt her by not having a relationship with her. Part of me now wishes I’d done it cos she was a little firecracker.

Likewise, I began bar work in a nightclub aged 21, had a handful of casual encounters with customers, and one intense night - and following evening - with a barmaid who was 10 years older than me, and almost ate me alive... 
Had a few more barman and bar manager jobs during the course of the following 12 years, at a couple of pub/restaurants and a couple of military establishments - had a FB thing for a while with an assistant chef at one of the former, and a few flings with customers at one of the latter...
....and also married one! |
