More if they're online or have evidence of recent activity (uploading pictures, status, forum posts)
Way more if they get into hot pics
Less if they use filters
Generally less if they've been around more than a few months. |

So ignoring the first two weeks which is just mayhem...
After three weeks back on the site I get probably ten messages a day from new contacts if I'm working from home and checking in regularly. I expect that to go down a bit more over the coming weeks.
9/10 are people I basically would not meet. |

I've been here over five years now.
When I first started... countless. In the two minutes it took me to write my first bio, dozens of messages. Certainly hundreds in my first 24 hours. That gradually calmed down over months.
When I had my filters open to my preferences after I'd been here a few years, I'd say 30 a day, maybe 50 if I uploaded a new picture.
My filters are locked down hard now, and I get none. |

This. When I'm inactive and don't log on for multiple days it can get down to single figures but when I have posted media it is triple figures even with filters |

I've some filters set but right now I've exactly 600 unread dms here....& Lots have been automatically deleted....if I blocked all men that figure would greatly reduce....but I don't want to block men....But if I could block cheating men I sure would.... |

I had filters on so you can only message if you are age between 34 and 47.
If I put new pics up or meet up then I’ll get about 30 new messages within the hour.
On a normal day maybe 50 messages. I dread to think how many if I had no filters.
But most of those messages consist of hi, wuu2, wanna fuck now, or they send me cock pics and haven’t read profile. Or they lives miles and miles away. |

Yes, I should say, when I say "filters locked down hard" and "I get no messages", my filters are set to "no men, no women, no couples of any kind, no TV/S". Getting no messages, as a woman, is a choice you make  |

I tend to get around 50 a day.
Most of them either dick pics, wanna fuck, Hi etc, though a surprising number into Skat and asking me to... well, you get the idea.
At the moment I'm having entertaining conversations with about a dozen people who have taken the time to read my profile and actually be articulate when messaging me. |

i get loads but it can change to silly once the meet sign goes up .....
i dont filter guys as i only meet guys via fab i choose just to block whom im not interested in and thats alot of blocking i do also seek rather than just be seeked theirs not a day that goes by with blocking loads and you can only see the last 250 youve blocked but i know for a fact im in the high 1,000s of men blocked works for me ....
couples women tv/ts all filtered as i wont meet any of them via the interenet most are fake anyway or dreamers or male led /male bullied |

Even as my profile is a couple run profile I get loads of messages targeting just me
Some realise and respect my Mr, but to be fair most pics are of me 
Anything better 20 to over 100 a day and I will try my best to answer
Often wondered if I had a single profile with a face pic and no filters what would happen
As Iv said before and I have to say it again 99% of messages are very polite and full of compliments about my figure,hair and pussy so more then welcome  |

The worst aspect for us is the messages are directed at the male.
Our profile is clearly written by a female, from a female’s perspective.
Yet messages are mainly directed at hubby, like I’m a possession he loans out

Hundreds a day when I first joined but I soon got my filters tightened up. I also think I blocked most of the repeat messagers (no idea how many hundreds are on my block list). Now I have my filters set so I don’t accept messages from single men at all. |

Curious to see how some women, as on this thread, get a small handful of messages each day. Whereas others get dozens and dozens.
More popular areas maybe? Although where I’ve moved to now seems to have way, way more activity than where I was before. |

I get the impression from reading similar threads that women who only get a few messages keep their filters tight and don't want lots of messages.
I've never understood the thought process behind not using filters at all and then complaining about the number of messages received.
There have been previous discussions over the years about screenshots showing the number of unread messages being thrown into private messages or forum comments used as a humble brag to highlight how popular an individual is. |

I only have one filter atm so I guess it’s down to the pictures,/statuses as you said, and probably the profile text as well, at least in my case. |

I use filters, but when i first rejoined it was crazy numbers
At the moment it's a few a day as I haven't uploaded anything for ages - I had around 900 unread messages, but these are gradually auto deleting- down to 350 now
Adding a regular status, posting new photos or videos and posting threads adds around 100 messages a day - but as others have said mostly 'hi', 'can I ask you a question', 'wuu2d' 'meet now? '
I've found the more you interact with fab, the worse the message content gets lol ! |

My profile specifically says don’t send me cock pics unless I ask you to (which I won’t)
I still get loads of cock pics in the first message. I’m not sure if men think they women look at a penis and think omg I can’t resist because they really don’t.
We often screenshot the weird or funny looking ones and send to our friends. |
