Can’t have any pictures etc.
We all hear this regularly
However, if there’s no connection with your employer, logos, uniform etc can they really discipline you.
Especially if you’ve no face picture or obviously identifiable picture?
Is it all just hiding from the wife?

Technically, unless there's an outright morality clause (which some jobs do have) there is fuck all they can do about it.
I talked to my boss about it when the ex was threatening to ruin my life, and he asked that I keep my name, workplace and face off public to make sure HR didn't have cause to get involved, so I adhere to that.
Technically and officially, there's fuck all HR can do. But employers don't always tell the whole truth on reasons behind personnel change choices, and there's no point putting my livelihood at risk ![](/icons/s/2/heart.gif) |

I can understand people who work with children or vulnerable adults wanting to keep their face hidden from public view on here. But surely not everyone who has their face hidden is in that situation.
It’s not a secret for me, my friends and family know. My work know. |

Your position can be made untenable by having identifiable pictures on a site like this or sending them to someone. People can be very vindictive if scorned and what some feel acceptable for themselves suddenly becomes unacceptable in others if they happen to be teaching their children or are their local GP for instance.
If someone doesn't want to show pictures they'll find it more difficult on here but it's understandable and not always because they're afraid their partner will see them. |

So we should post face pics. Then anyone at work and clients can see what we do in our private lives. Some people don’t want their families and the rest of the world to know or see these slutty pics |

I don't see why someone can't have some sort of pic, even clothed head cropped off. Surely that won't make them identifiable?.
Maybe some contracts would mean they're able to discipline staff for being on here. I would then wonder if it's the right place for them if that's the case.
I think some who have got into trouble were wearing uniforms/Id & were nhs or the police staff and their organisation was able to be seen.
I do think it's a cop out that someone can't put 1 pic up due to work. No one would recognise their bum or legs etc.
I often think it may be because their partner would recognise their body or the background of photos.
