Blocking after face pic

I’ve had this happen to me quite a lot recently, it seems to be a running theme.

When chatting with a woman or couple on here, they want a face pic quite early on into the chat. I totally understand, as what’s the point chatting to somebody on here that you’re not attracted to?

So, when I send a mug shot, they open it and instantly block me…what’s that all about?

I’m no George Clooney, I know that, but I’m not bad looking. When I receive a pic that I’m not interested in, I’m polite and honest about it.

It seems to me that fab is evolving and attracting some absolute c*nts.

Does anyone else get this kind of reaction often after sending a face pic?

I think a lot of people especially man get it but it’s just they aren’t interested. Wouldn’t get stressed about it

It's not the most polite method of expressing a lack of interest.

But experience with this site means I'm well aware that a polite reply can all too often end in vitriol and vile comments in response. So I understand people taking the option that gets the point across without leaving themselves open to abuse.

You know they want it early to establish attraction, if it's not there, its not there.

Good luck out there OP. Don't take it to heart. Most people aren't compatible with most people

Just build a bridge and move on. You're not everyones cup of tea. Why let it trouble you.

We find the same, been blocked by many we've said no thanks to.

Don't take it personally and in many cases we don't particularly want to view their profile a second time

But honestly it could be a case of they block, purely as a filter so they don't try to re-establish communication...

I don’t take it to heart, or get stressed about it. I just find it really peculiar behaviour, and it’s happening a lot. I’ve been on fab for 15 years give it take and I’ve never really experienced it before.

I take it for what it is a big no thank you.

Don’t get upset, but don’t waste the energy looking at people who don’t want to know you.

If someone deletes my message without a reply, I do the same.

If they leave it hanging you have to wonder if they want to show the other half or consider it later.

Is there a difference between seeing no thanks in writing or in actions?

It's never nice to be rejected, however it's expressed.

If you was everyone’s cup of tea you’d be a mug… the shear volume of men to women here gives them that choice also

Don’t let it hit the self-esteem. I’ve just turned down a seriously handsome dude - like REALLY good-looking. But I’m into women & feminine/boyish looking guys. I was honest and he was respectful back. But my honesty & diplomacy has provoked terribly abusive messages from some in the past, hence why I think some just block.

Definitely not the most polite but also the easiest for one of the parties. Delete and onwards to the next pal.

Blocking someone takes them out of the equation. So essentially it means you’ll not be able to message them again and they won’t be able to message you, thus making sure they don’t repeat the same conversation down the line with the same people.

Polite it ain’t, but this is a site to find sex, which isn’t exactly about emotional feeling, so just move on. Happens to everyone.

Calling people cunts should fuck up your chances. True colours as my ex used to say

A polite no thanks should suffice shouldn't it

Don’t like the response so they’re cunts. Apparently.

Sadly you'd think being on a mature site would encourage mature approaches.

Some people are not the greatest however socially on here, there sexual appetite stays mostly at fantasy, so when it gets too intense we notice some panic and run, or in this case blocks.

When a simple "not for us thanks, happy fabbing" (our general response).

Take it as no reflection to your value, move on, be also hesitant to just fire your face pic because your a single male, give yourself some value, as single males do get a stigma thrown about but shouldn't mean your a piece of meat either.

Not for us generally gets us a reply of “Why not?” lol. You can’t win really. Either way you’re gonna be the bad person in someone’s eyes

People sometimes block after receiving a face pic because they know or recognise the person or they are a relative or live too close to home....

Also...If it's the same face pic you are sending all the time....I'd take & send a new different photo & maybe take & send 2....
