Well it'll help if you told us what size clothes you are.

You can always Google mens sizes and equivalent in women's.

"Sorry 15st 34 waist"

That's roughly a size 16-18 in female sizes.

As others have stated 14 some materials do expand quite a bit so you do have a bit.

Buy a few cheap pairs from Primark or somewhere with a bit of stretch in them that'll help you find out what's the best size but as importantly for me what style is comfortable.

"Primark do have a very affordable lovely range so will maybe try there first."

The only thing I find with them is that the gusset (What a horrible word ) is very narrow and can be uncomfortable so don't go too mad.

And check the size on the packaging, don't just go with what it says on the shelf!

I think especially in Primark people put stuff back on the wrong size shelving just to mess with less observant people like me! (I also hate bra shopping!)

Good luck with it OP, you'll find something you like.

It's a bit of trial and error really. I am surprised by the sizing and there doesn't seem to be an accurate correlation between the two. I'm not exactly slim (34" waist) and have developed a bit more of a dad bod than I would like. However, nice, relaxed things from places like Boux and Ann Summers, I find a size 12 is just lovely. More panty style underwear then yes, you might need to look at 12-14. Just because you are a bit of a chunkier fella doesn't mean you need to look at "plus size" underwear.

If it comes to clothing (skirts, dresses etc), I'm no expert here but that's when it can start to get more tricky as our general physiological shapes are different enough that it shows more and you may be looking at larger sizes.

15st, 34" waist - I reckon sexy brief thongs will be a size 12 tops.

I reckon size 14 and above will feel a little too loose and baggy - especially if you like the idea of a snug fit

I say a 14/16 and make sure they have a little stretch in them to hold everything in

I'm a 35" waist 13st.

I wear size 14 M&S knickers. Could probably go to 16's but I find the slightly small size helps with holding the dangly bits in.

"Sorry 15st 34 waist"

You'd be a 14 / 16 size.

Meant to add that I suggest you try a 14 first.

I think they'd fit fairly well for you.

I make lingerie and sports costumes.
