Just a word of caution, we have had our profile and images shared to our vanilla friends by someone that was on our friend list. Disappointed that we have had to hide our face pics and clear our friend list, lesson learned for us.

Horrendous that. It happened to a pal of mine and his Mrs. Pics got plastered all over his local estate, round both of their works. People can be genuinely jealous, cruel bastards sometimes |

Sorry this has happened but sadly heard of it before and similar things a few times. One time a lady friend had her pics sent on Facebook to friends and family by another lady after they had fallen out over a man. Guess it always going to be a risk if you share face pics but handing our phone numbers really increases the risk these days given WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram links. |

If you share a face pic that is also on a vanilla social media site a reverse image search will probably find it there. |

Kelly, what you describe it would appear that a revenge porn offense may have been committed and you should report it to the police. While that may be embarrassing it is the right thing to do.

Once I'd fininshed asking "Why? *Why*?! Why on earth...? Why would people do that?!" I was just about to say the same thing. If they've intentionally shared your images to cause you harm or distress (and why else would they have done it?!) then it's probably within the scope of the new revenge porn laws.
I've no idea what goes through people's minds when they do things like that, but they need to know it's not ok. |

people do it ye and others say things etc we had similar and it takes years for it too die down hence no face pics on here and dont norm meet near where you live best of it is the ones that start it dont like you finishing it as norm they are on site too and have pics etc that can stay on record or in files a couple of ours got posted and once out they are out thats the net ,just dont rise up to it too much as the ones who mention it are poss doing the same but havent been outed so if someone says something just remind them that they must be on looking for you or whoever doing the same good luck with it all and dont rise to stuff |

Had someone try to extort me a few years ago. Threatening to spread my pics. Police were very helpful and very discrete. Didn't have to press charges and go to court fortunately. But don't post face pics anymore and very careful who I share with.... |

I had similar from a lady I met a few years ago who I had rather stupidly let have my number. She was a lot younger and it was case of too good to be true - we did meet and have fun but then the problems started. She didn't know my address but lived a couple of villages away and pretended that she had found out my address, knew some neighbours etc.. She threatened all sorts unless I gave her money including telling her dad and brother that I had abused her so they would pay me a visit, putting up my pics on village notice board, etc. Blocked her numbers and she continued to contact on friend's phone. Eventually she got bored and gave up but it was horrific for a while. I panic closed my Fab account that I had had for maybe 10 years with lots of veris. Now much more careful..... |

My alternative lifestyle has never been secret.
However many years ago I was a victim of revenge porn. I was embarrassed about it so didn't do anything and it just blew over.
However revenge porn is a crime now and subject to prosecution.

I once had an email calling me by my real name saying he'd found pics of me on various sites. Said if I didn't send them 2k they would send them to my friends and family
Told them to go ahead! Never heard from them again. Could have been bluffing however by quickly taking away a blckmailers power leaves them with no leverage |

Something similar happened to us once in our early days of swinging. We met a couple who didn’t know much about us, ie professions, where we lived etc. so we thought!!! They had met a couple who we had chatted to at a house party, supposedly in confidence, who had told this couple all about us!! We were shocked, angry and disappointed that they gave out our personal info. Much more careful and wiser now in what we say and who we chat to. |

Op please report this to the police. They will be very supportive and discreet with you but the rat will be prosecuted under the new laws around just this sort of thing. Even just sharing your photos is now illegal!

That is a well-known scam email. They buy email mailing list and send out the same messages to thousands or even hundreds of thousands of people automatically. Most ignore or reply like you but it only takes a few to be shit scared and send some money. I've had variations on that maybe 10 times. One similar one is that they've hacked the camera on your computer and have pics of you doing umm male things while watching [insert random famous porn site} |

My job is cyber security sometimes I play them for while and using free downloadable tools and a little patience hack them and then give them their location and ip address and vsrious aliases. Sometimes you can even get a picture which is gold when you get a response!
Lol the last dating scam I got! Hot Latin American woman 2 miles away wanted nsa fun. Picture was hot, however it was a picture of pablo esobars daughter! Come on at least try |
