Staggers me how often I read this in messages, usually addressed to the male half (i.e nice slut you have there etc) despite the profile being written by and from a female perspective.
Is it just me? I’m not expecting shakespeare on here but its an instant turn off for me.
How do others feel? |

I personally love it but certainly not as an opening message or in conversation with someone I don’t know. It’s always at my own request and that’s how it should be. Calling someone derogatory terms in the gamble that they’ll find it a turn on is disrespectful and frankly very stupid. |

Agreed wholeheartedly; 100% of the time for us its in an introductory message |

"In a message from someone we don't know it would be a block from us."
The process we have adopted now. To think, when i first started I thought it was a bit harsh blocking people… but now I do dozens a day
If you cant be polite and respectful, or say something charming or descriptive rather than graphic detail of what YOU would like to do to me I’m ruthless now |

Totally unacceptable, you are right to block and move on. If that’s what they consider to be a good opener imagine what they’d be like to spend any time with |

As welcome and enjoyable as a smear test I’d imagine |

"in normal talk or with people i dont know then a big fat no...
however in bed with a guy who can really take me places then hell yeah a regular guy whom ive met loads of times hell yeah "
Which is fine if its on your terms. I never thought I’d be called something that I dislike more than “babe”. How wrongwas I |

Wow never really had a message like that
Maybe not the best way to start a conversation
But in the right circumstances I don’t mind being called it |

"Not for me.
each to there own "
In the right context, if its something you like, then I can see its appropriate.
I cant help but think though more people would get action on here if they tempered their messages.
I often think there’s a business opportunity here; writing mens messages for them |

i have to say i have to be really into the guy he has to be puching all the right buttons otherwise its just an insult that wont go down well /... i meet one guy once a week no fail and he gets me to a point that he can call me as he wishes ..
being called a slut via message is a instant block calling me a slut on first or second meet will mean we wont meet again .... it has to be right in the right way and by the right person ...
i hate any false flattery makes me wanna puke .. babe hun sexy all of it yuk but if i know you and our sexual fun is regular then its different |

There seems to be a consensus on here, namely fine in the right context by the right people, but not by random strangers, especially all those blokes who don’t seem able to string a sentence together.
I proudly call myself a PVC Hotwife Slut, but guys need to earn the right to call me a slut through, at the very least, getting to know us and then checking it is ok to use such language.

"Its no wonder some guys can't get a meet. If thats how they introduce themselves it probably means they'd be clueless if you met them x" or why many of them have the words “single” in their profile…

"I love it haha but I enjoy being abit degraded! It’s bang out of order to approach most people this way especially if you’re unaware of their kinks x "
Totally agree. I love it if I get called a slut, but I see it that you only call someone that word or others when you know they are okay with it. If you don't know, just be respectful. |

Never been called it but I think it's just one of those things that is down to personal preference. So many women describe themselves as a slut which gets the attention of many guys (including me) but would take offense to being called slut.
Another woman that includes slut in her profile name would like it and if you spoke to her with respect and didn't call her a degrading name might block you because a polite guy is boring to her.
If a woman doesn't indicate she considers herself a slut there is no way you should approach her by calling her one.
The thing about a man describing his partner as a slut, I wouldn't like but another might.
That kind of thing is risky territory when you want to get somewhere with a lass, cuz ofc you don't know her to gauge if its something she would like or even get away with.
Worst case scenario you get blocked. Probably a tactic that will go wrong more than the reaction you are hoping for

Shakespeare,, hahaha amusing that as the majority of people on here can’t string a decent sentence together |

It's never the opening greeting in the first message, but once the clothes start coming off the desires of those involved determine the language used. I've had some very hot sex where 'slut' has been liberally used, and some equally hot sex where it just wasn't appropriate. |

Alice refers to herself as my slut. On a night out, she might wear a t-shirt that says slut. But it's a self-identifier. I imagine anyone else calling her that would get a slap.
I delete and block any messages calling her that. |

Personally I find that extremely disrespectful and completely understand why it would turn you off, it’s always about understanding the people / person you are interacting with. |

Hate anyone referring to M as a slut.
Probably the worst was when her ex messaged us but addressed to me from an old profile he ran with her on it. He referred to her in that profile as a slut. Took a lot of self control not to react and just block |

I was once in a club where a couple were using it non-stop to the point of it becoming a bit uncomfortable. Just felt slightly off that he only referred to his partner that way…but I guess each to their own and it was clearly working for them. |

"Love it once a connection has been established!"
agreed, once the connection is there, and everone is on the same page, i love my wife being returned to as a slut
Slag and Whore seem a step too far in my head, therefore a turn off |
