Just it’s difficult for me to dress up and then come and meet the guys at reception (fairly new to dressing and not confident in public) so would appreciate the advice on how to meet guys in hotels and bypass this obstacle. I don’t want to be having to go to reception and be seen by everyone?

Short answer is to ask your prospective meet to get a hotel room there too for themselves and then they can bypass reception.

Why should you be the only one to payout for a room?

If they’re worth your time it shouldn’t be an issue

all over

I have no experience on the TV side of it, but it depends on the hotel.

For some hotels I've asked for a 2nd room pass, had that left at reception and told them the room number. (This was with someone I knew and trusted)

Another hotel, I was able to tell them the room number and they were able to just make their way to my room, there was no lift etc that needed a pass to gain entry.

I've had lots of hotel meets and there's never been a problem, even with group meets. I think it must depend on the hotel?

Not all hotels need keys to get to the rooms/use lifts. But places like travelodge, premier inn and quite a few Novotel/ibis hotel do.

I’ve not done this myself as I don’t cd so can go meet a guy if needed. But on a few occasions I’ve gone to meet a guy at his hotel and he’s had a 2nd key placed somewhere outside I could easily find it. Couple of times under the window wiper of their car/van. Another time where there was no car park he’d left it in a plant pot by the front door.

You just ask reception if you can get two keys, a lot of the time they ask if you want one or two. I always take two and if I get a look, i just say “I’m terrible for misplacing them.

Hope that helps

What’s Moxy like for security? Are cards required to get into lifts and access rooms etc?

There are a couple of options. You get the room and then change in the room and call/message the guy to come to the room. Second way is for him to get the room and you go to the room in male mode and immediately go into the bathroom to change. He can wait out of sight from the entrance while you do this. Third was is he gets the room and then leaves the key hidden outside. He leaves the room and you go to the room to change and message him when you are ready for him to come. Each option just needs you both to be communicating a lot.

All the above can be done so you are not seen by him in male mode. If both of you do not mind being seen in male mode then just meet in the room or reception as 2 males and then change in the room.

This is exactly the kind of good advice I imagine the OP was looking for

Moxy always require keycards. But you might find someone already in a Moxy wanting to play and can come to your room. We’ve always found people in Moxy. ??

There was also a thread in the forum some time ago with people recommending hotels that have access to the rooms that avoid going via the reception. Not that many but some do exist.

Like the OP I do not like going to a reception when dressed so I have experience of using the options I have listed.

A lot of Holiday Inns don't have the need for key cards to open doors or operate lifts. Most of the Holiday Inns have swimming pools and gyms attached so the reception are used to people coming and going all the time. I have never had an issue with visitors call by when I am staying in one.
