Why do folk get banned for posting a link ?

How come folk get a forum ban for posting a link to a swingers festival link ?

Most of the interested people attending are on fab , and it would be a perfect positive event for fab to be involved in , albeit by being the site that helps folk coordinate details .

This seems harsh to say the least , and the link was only posted after cynical posts by an un named poster .

We really ought to be more positive about this kind of thing and the decision to ban folk on the basis that a link for a positive event is farcical !

Read the rules. Stick to the rules. No ban!

Simple really.

Because it's for what is essentially a commercial enterprise, and like any other website, if you want to advertise, you have to pay.... Simplez.

I think I read something to do with links and adware/spyware? So they only allow links to well known sites like news and you tube x
