I will admit that I don't find the thought appealing myself.....but i do wonder how he knew it was a tampon cord....just as likely (and given that this is a site the very basis of which is sex) that the cord belonged to a mini-vibe or love eggs etc.
However, the thread has made me question why it is considered to be so disgusting for a tampon cord to be visible anyway.
As a teenager, periods and sanitary protection were unmentionable if any males were around. The whole business of menstruation was almost taboo. When they first started to show adverts for sanitary pads and tampons on the television I was horrified... but why?
It's a fact of life (hell, there's a phrase from my teen years ). The majority of females between their mid-teens to late forties bleed once a month. Couldn't agree more. Periods are the final taboo it seems and we must keep any evidence of Womens uncleanliness hidden from the eyes of the sensitive. Come on!
