I'm sure that the scene has very much quietened down in the past couples of years, certainly with regard to single women. I remember years ago that every week, I could count on a handful of ladies joining up who I'd have a particular interest in chatting to, these days however not only do there seem to be far fewer of them, but even the ones joining up rarely make much of an effort with regards to either their profile or pics, if they even bother to have them at all.
Has anyone else noticed anything similar? |

I guess I'm fairly new to comment as I've only been here six months. Haven't found it hard thou, but I'm picky so only meet if I feel an attraction or there is chemistry. |

I have not been on here long enough to have witnessed this phenomenon. It is however not that surprising considering that the Female to Male ratio decreases every year. The CIA (they have nothing better to do!!) estimates that the current world wide sex ratio at birth is 107 boys to 100 girls. Aren't we the lucky ones with all the choices!!! Having said that, if you like the cold and feel like relocating, the best place to live if you are a Male is Kiev, Ukraine where women outnumber men 54% to 46%. |

Do they need to make an effort?
When i was a single fem i had no verifications for months and months, no photo, no photo verification, no profile text and i was still inundated with offers (although i wasnt meeting).
Why do they need to make the effort and risk outing themselves when there is a plentiful supply of men?
Admittedly a better profile will probably attract a higher quality of man :P |

I'm a single girl with photos and I've out a lot of effort into my profile (scived all day at work to revamp it!) & I also class myself as a swinger. Swinging is being sexually liberated not just wife swapping.
Everyone should make an effort on here to get results, like everything else in life you get out what you put in.
So OP don't tar all single women with the same brush, just like all single guys shouldn't get tarred! |

I'm not tarring anyone, I do still, occasionally, read some very good female profiles here and there, its just that there are far, far fewer than there used to be. |

I think the financial recession has to be taken into account. Its like shopping - when I was flush I would buy stuff every day. Now I am skint I go for one big shop so I can compare prices.
Same with sex - I don't have the money for several trips a week, so I save it all up and go for a monthly gangbang/club, and get all my sexual needs fulfilled in one go. |

I did think it could be tied into the actual recession itself which has been going on for the past few years - perhaps the struggle to make ends meet has been having a negative effect on libidos also? |

Were new to the swinging scene and if there is a recession in swinging we must have missed it as were having enough fun to keep us interested .

I think it is tied to the financial recession. People have to work harder to make ends meet leaving less free time for a social life. Add to that the cost of social meet/ babysitters/ hotel costs/ club membership etc & some people can't afford to meet as often.
Notice I said some! I realise these things don't effect everyone & I know for others cost is not an issue.
We don't play as often as we'd like for ask of the above reasons & the fact that we simply don't have as much time as we did  |
