There is some confusion as to the way men and women describe themselves ie curvy, average, fabulous etc.
From a guys point of view there are a lot of women who describe themselves as curvy, average, who are definitely obese.
Anyone else find the same? |

Strictly speaking, this is very true. However, it usually comes down to interpretation and grey areas. Some people definitely straddle the boundaries between one classification and another. |

I tend to meet socially first as well, but I don't look to the label they give their body type to see if I think there might be an attraction. Pictures usually work better |

"I just wish people would be honest with themselves...It stops a lot of aggravation"
If a label someone you don't know affixes to themselves on a swinging website causes you a lot of aggravation I'd recommend a chill pill |

That's a different issue to the OP. if you hate fat chicks just make sure it's clear on your profile and they'll give you a wide berth! |

"There isn't really a debate to be had... Everyone has their own idea what's average, what's curvy, ample, "fabulous" etc." A point in question...After taking a peek at your profile pics there is no way that I'd say you were a size 18. You look very attractive to me in your pics. But in your defence you do actually state your size in your profile.

There seems to be some confusion as to how the filters work on here , if you are a slim couple and large peeps don't float yer boat, then surely you should be searching for slim people to match your preference. Although it would seem to be the norm now for people to come and right fat bash threads instead. |

It is clear on our profile and as for taking a chill pill....I'm very chilled thank you very much, unlike someone on here obviously. It wasn't meant to get into a slagging match....sorry if I've touched a nerve

If anything I'm glad you aren't into the more curvaceous lady - less competition for old Kit |

Yeah i agree with what you're saying-im a size 16 and am most definately over-weight but i prefer to call myself curvy because describing myself as "large" kind of makes it sound like i have no self-confidence, when im perfectly happy with the way i look, although i have no problem with others calling me that as it's a fair description.
As long as you are open and honest with yourself and your meets, i don't think its a problem.
I think curvy can be used to describe lots of different dress sizes, its more about body shape and attitude, dont you think? |

I think when your curves have turned into rolls your fat
If you have a over hang on you belly, creases in your back and you nipples point to the floor your fat not curvy
I see curvy as slim with shape not over weight
That's only my interpretation of course |

I think thats fair enough, although if someone who is fat wants to call themselves curvy and it makes them feel better in themselves then its not hurting anyone, confidence is sexy.

My view on this is that people can classify themselves exact how they like, it isn't down to others to decide.
Everything is subjective. I've seen many profiles that state people are attractive and good looking, or people are easy going and fun. I might not agree with them, I may think they are ugly miserable gits. The same as VWE, to one guy it will be 6 inches to another it will be 10.
The profile is merely a vague overview, it is not a contract set in stone. You just have to do your own groundwork to figure out if people are for you, by reviewing messages and looking at pictures. If in the flesh people are not what's expected then walk away. |

Agree
I have no problem with anyone calling themselves anything
We all have different views on what is curvy and what isn't, just because that's how I se it that does not mean its right its just my opinion
For me attraction comes in all forms and if I found someone attractive it wouldn't matter to me if they classed themselves as curvy or large I would still view them the same |

I don't mind the larger ladies at all but I'm not a fan of the very large BBW and said so in my profile. I then got a message from a larger lady who was miffed and gave me a bit of a hard time about it. Each to their own I say! But I understand when you say some people are a bit confused or misleading with their size. |

But BBW is subjective to what you like, saying your a BBW does not mean a great deal to me, if I read your profile (or anyone elses that said no BBWs) I wouldn't mail you because I class myself as a BBW where as there are women on here bigger than me who see themselves as curvy not BBW so they may mail you, some see a BBW as a size 16, some see a size 16 as curvy some don't see a woman as a BBW till they are a size 20+, that's the problem, theres no set size on whats curvy and fat, everyone will have their own opinion |

Yes people lie on here but people lie in real life to. If curvy is how they see themselves then so be it. This is why you should look at pics and insist on social meets or at least canning with them.
If they are not for you politely make your excuses and don't meet them for sex. It's not illegal to claim you are curvy when you are just fat |

I don't even see it as a case of lying, someone who you see as fat genuinely may see themselves as curvy, and they may think they are giving a honest description of themselves, all because peoples perception of fat is different to yours that don't make them a liar
And by you I don't mean YOU |
