First thing I look at, if it is a mess with things all over the floor you wonder how their personal hygiene is.
On the other hand if their home is tidy and stylish, great wall paper for instance, I'm much more attracted.

On a side note...

Photos in the background for sure! Either wedding photos in a singles profile or clearly identifiable school photos  Also face pics in the background of a profile who have gone to the trouble of hiding any way of identifying them in their fab pics |
