We’ve never managed to have a meet like this. We’ve tried but vast majority want sone kind of swap even is soft. Clubs can work but we found others tend to join and before long it’s not just 4 people. Not given up x |

People don't just join in if their approaches are not welcomed, a polite "no thanks" is all that is required, there is no pressure to engage with anyone. |

Also aren't there different rooms - some that you can lock, some that have viewing windows?? |

This was how we dipped our toe into club play.
We had one or two private meets and play in locked rooms, but nothing in a public play area.
The club we go to has a couples room, with a viewing window.
We used this room to play between ourselves with another couple or two in the room without any touching to get used to playing in front and around others.
These days we've progressed to swapping and group play in there too but it was a good stepping stone.
Other couples were really respectful too |
