We always used to give very clear instructions, one of those being to use the garden gate and come in through the back door. This was mainly so the guest was in the kitchen and not on the side that would allow access to the rest of the house (seemed like the safest way to do it). Really want to give this a go. We have the perfect short hallway with no doors coming off of it. so you could enter the house 5 steps later cock would be through the hole.
