So how did you find out about fabswingers?

Hi,
This may make an interesting post or it will die on its arse but hey ho!
I’m always very intrigued by how any member here found the site? I always ask on meets and have had a wide variety of reasons why and also how! Be it Google, word of mouth etc.It would be great to hear how you all got here? how many have gone and come back or been here for the long haul 
I was on AFF and someone suggested here and I have been here ever since, had some amazing meets and sadly some have left the scene and that mostly has also ended the communication so that’s always a sad part of the swing life.

I was saying to a friend at the club that I was gutted about not knowing about an awesome sounding event a couple of weeks earlier. She pointed out that most clubs post all their events on the forums here  |

we were swinging way before fab or indeed most sites were around when we started it was word of mouth dogging and when we brought our fist pc with a massive 6gb hardrive it was chat groups like xcite yahoo aol .... there where no clubs in the southwest nearest was west midlands ... loads of house parties mostly invited from dogging couples ..
fab is fairly new as in internet there were a few big sites before fab but alot jumpped to fab within weeks of it starting as alot of other sites started to charge moneys ..
it was easy for me n hubs both fully bi both very open minded with sex so swinging and dogging came easy for us being so open and honest with each other |

I didn't know sites like this even existed so 8 years ago I had posted a couple of ads on Craigslist with no joy and then found another site.
It wasn't very user friendly so I looked for an alternative and signed up here.
This is my 4th profile in 7 years and the longest I've had any profile. This one will be 5 years old in April. |

Its really interesting seeing what people did pre fab and internet even.we're spoiled for choice these days.We started on a tinder profile and another kink social media site i dont think i can name starting with fet.we then discovered fab from there there and found it much more suitable for our needs. |

Met a friend/ regular play partner through another app. She was very upfront about being married, and what was and was not on the table. Even had her husband drop her off. I’d been trying traditional dating but not finding anyone on the same wavelength. She suggested I’d be a good fit here, and find more folks in the same place and who communicate in the same way, so here I am |

Like OP, I was on AFF and did have a few meets then, but had a spell of non-swinging. Then a work colleague with whom I was having a rather d*unken conversation mentioned it and I signed up. I really like it and found some lovely people including some who have become regulars. |

Was talking about sex one day to a bus driver I know and he told me he and his wife are swingers and told me they were on Fabswingers and said I should join to look at there pics so I did and haven't looked back |

Well, during Covid, I was very lonely and sexually frustrated and also single. I had never been on any sites like this and came across this one to try and left last December and was back again in January, although I’ve had no luck with it apart from one occasion, There’s something which keeps me coming back to it |

We were already on the club scene. Had lots of people asking if we were on fab, eventually we joined.
We find the site alright for what it is, was actually shocked at how old fashioned it is though when we first joined lol think maybe we aren't old enough to really remember this style of website. So it took a little getting used to.
Personally, I still much prefer just going to clubs, we tried setting up private meets but most failed so fab is just something we use to look at guestlists, find events, keep in contact with people we meet at events and have a read through the forums. We generally prefer the kink site that can't be named |

We was already into swinging and went to our first night at youtopia club and a few couples we got talking to told us about it so set up profile and we are still friends with them couples all these years later just a shame that the club is no longer open. |

My wife and I had a temporary hiatus 5 years ago. I with a high sex drive joined some 'god awful websites' where all the women were blokes in India and Indonesia trying to sell credits.(lol)
Accepting my foolishness I searched where might I be successfull in finding 'female sexual companionship'. FABSWINGERS came highly recommended!!! The rest was history.
My first profile was a success, with a fair bit of action; but with my wife (who was on here) contracting and succumbing to cancer recently...this profile has floundered a bit

All the mentions of AFF…..there’s a blast from the past. Did quite well there! 
But, it wasn’t my route to here. My wife was here first….albeit for about a day before she got sick of the message bombardment and left for FL. |

I received an anonymous message from an irate woman informing me that my partner was on FG swapping messages with her husband.
I was aware my partner was bi but had never heard of Fab.
Fast forward and my partner is now my ex and here I am with a solo profile!

I was I work the one day n there was a few of us talking n this guy said about the site n got it up on his phone, so as soon as I got home that evening I opened an account, posted a few pictures, with the wife's concent n then after a bit of time started meeting as a couple. |
