I had a reverse PA last year. It was a novelty at first but even after 6 months it was uncomfortable when playing. Ended up retiring it.
Great to look at but not practical. I spoke to a couple of body piercers and they had similar experiences. |

Like all things, even lingerie, it’s always a matter of personal preference. I have a pierced frenulum and absolutely love it. It has certainly increased my own sexual pleasure. In the 30 years I’ve had it I’ve only ever met one woman/couple who didn’t like it and insisted I remove it (which is easy enough), and one guy who said it gave him trouble deep throating me, although I’ve absolutely no idea of how many have declined to meet at all because of it (or the other way round).
The PA is clearly the most popular Male piercing, and I had one for a short time, but I just couldn’t get on with it personally. That said, I love to see them and play with them - especially with larger gauge rings, and I suspect the additional weight feels good for the wearer too. Less popular choices, which look good and I’m told greatly increase pleasure for those wearing them, are the ampallang (horizontally through the head of the penis) and apadravya (vertically through the head of the penis, either through the urethra or to one side of it). The latter if through the urethra can be thought of as a PA and a reverse PA combined, and indeed I’ve known people to alternate between a ring in each half and a through barbell (or a large diameter ring). It’s also possible to have both an ampallang and an apadravya at the same time, in which case it’s sometimes called a magic cross.
Piercings lower down the shaft are also possible, and can look amazing, particularly multiple “ladder” piercings on either the top or the underside of the shaft, but placement and aftercare are more important as they can snag during during sexual activity and often migrate or work out. |

I found mine very difficult to get on with at first with the thinner rings but as worked it with the weight to it felt amazing, also if you go for the ring you may feel better with a smaller diameter or larger diameter it all trial and error to your own comfort, plus if you like a size but don't like the weight you can opt for different material ie. Swap surgical steel for plastic |
