Hi there we are looking for some advice if possible.
We are considering going to a swingers resort next year for a week and looking for recommendations if people, we have never visited a club and only done hotel meets so slightly nervous.
Also advice on the resort if it is full on swinging 24/7 and are there none pushy clubs nearby

In Gran Canaria there are Venus and La Mirage. Both are nudist. Venus is a bit more active during the day, La Mirage is a bit more relaxed.
A huge variety of clubs of different sorts within a taxi ride. |

La Mirage is a very chilled swingers complex in Gran Canaria. There’s more threads on the Spanish forum about it.
You can do as much or little as you want. Some nudists (non swingers) use it too.
We first went in on a day pass to check it out whilst on holiday there. But stayed quite a few times since. We like that it’s not too full on. It’s nice to enjoy the chill as well as play on holiday.
Clubs are a quick 5 minutes taxi ride away.

For visiting a club for the first time as a couple, I'd give my standard advice. Just go and look, and don't play with anyone else, just each other.
Really don't play with anyone else, however tempted. It's important to establish that you can both be trusted. |

We enjoyed Venus Star Gran Canaria (as others have mentioned). It's a nude swingers resort. Think it's couples only too. Which may not be everyones cup of tea but perfect for us. We are naturist anyway in vanilla life and absolutely hate wearing swimwear in the pool. We liked that not only could we be naked all day, we could play openly when we wanted. We enjoyed the lazy sexy daytimes by the pool. And it's kind of hot watching people all getting it on around the pool in the daytime sun all day. It's just freedom.
Early evenings we enjoyed hot tub happy hour every day. Its the best time to get to know people, make plans with others and/or just a warm up for the sexy night ahead. Some really hot times in that little window of the day.
We also like it's not full on at night time. In fact it's dead at night because everyone heads out to all the swinger venue's in PDI. Which gives you the option to do the swinger thing too or take the opportunity to spend some quality time together alone (we enjoyed the option of enjoying both). |

thank you for coming back to me, so is mirage more nudist where as Venus is open playing around you, are you under no pressure to play in clubs also |

"Cap D'agde is technically a naturist zone but in reality its very much swinger friendly with clubs, saunas and parties to attend all with walking distance. "
So it is more clothes optional rather than playrooms etc, again are the clubs no pressure etc as it would be our first time, where is Cap please is it nice |

I’m guessing people don’t play around the pool but have rooms etc, it’s also good clubs are a short drive.

We have been to cap de agde and hedonism in Jamaica both different but great same time lots parties but can just chill relax on beach or in hot tubs .. planning our next holiday to hedonism already xx |

You can play by the pool at both La Mirage and Venus, it's just that Venus is bigger, so whenever you look round at Venus you'll see someone playing, while at La Mirage it's a much more occasional thing.
La Mirage is quieter, more relaxed, while Venus is more of a party. Personally we prefer to stay at La Mirage, but if we were just visiting for the day we'd go to Venus.
We've never felt under any pressure to play at any club, anywhere. Maybe that's because we're not very attractive!  |

If you meet people through Fab, presumably you both know exactly who you're meeting, and what you're going to do. The thing about going to a club is that unless you arrange stuff beforehand you really have no idea what's going to happen and with who.
So you both have to trust that you're not going to get sucked into something you don't want.
You know your relationship best, but my advice would always be to take it slow. It's such a different environment.

No problem.
If you go to the main forum page. Either click search and type in “La mirage” or scroll down the main forum page to “Spain”.. you’ll see everything in there to do with Gran Canaria or PDI.
Some do play around the pool, yes. But it’s not often from what we have experienced.
We’ve stayed around 4 separate weeks there and seen poolside play 3-4 times. There was a large play area room and also small room that’s more suited to dungeon type play. People use their own rooms too.
We’ve only played around the hot tub areas and rooms. We love to be around it all and with like minded people and make friends but more night owls so prefer our play in the clubs.
All are no pressure. Just go and check them out. There’s some great places. Our favourites are Peaches & cream and Secret. But try them all and see for yourselves.
Try the bars for pre drinks too. Lots of info of the Spain page but give us a shout if you need any more advice. Also lots of regular visitors on the spain forum. All happy to help.

The problem with some men they think they have a right to play and it puts couples off like us. Which is why I (mrs) enjoy when it is couples and ladies.
There are enough clubs in Playa to accommodate single guys. |

There are but they are expensive as a single guy. 50€ last time I was there, but free for women and couples |

We stayed naked all day but you dress in the evening although when I say dress it's not exactly formal wear. Clubs are great and there's never any pressure but also plenty of parties and there's a forum thread on here gathering names of people who are going so you can plan ahead if you want to. Cap is near Beziers airport on the southern French coast. |

Yes basically anywhere apart from inside the pool/hot tub and the restaurant (which obviously should go without saying). Around the pool double sunbeds and four poster sun shaded double beds too. There's also an open plan play area that opens onto the pool area.
As for singles guys evenings are all about going into town anyways (as the place becomes dead at night). So no doubt you'll be able to find plenty of single guys in many of the swinger spots in town of an evening or at the beach of a daytime. |

If they're established, with good communication then they probably won't listen to it!
But it's stuff that any couple should think about before going to a club for the first time, especially if they're worried about being "pushed" into stuff. |

We are looking forward to pushing our boundaries and trying clubs but we’re just a little nervous |
