The definition can be fluid depending on how the meet goes.

We love soft swing. When seen as something in its own right - e.g. not just half of what you really want to do - we find it is often just as good as full swing. Quite intimate and enjoyable! |

Being new this has confused us somewhat aswell, we've found people's definitions vary, from same room fun with own partner to everything but penetrative sex, we just check with any prospective people  |

I think that's for the best. I'm pretty sure that the "official" definition is anything short of penetration. And I think it is down to those involved to make clear if they mean less than that (e.g. just playing with own partners in close proximity). |
