How do parties work?

Been looking at few different parties recently but not entirely sure how they work?

Do you just turn up?

Do people come over to you?

What if you get turned down by everyone?

Anyone have any advice on how they work from start to finish kind of thing for a newbie?

When you say parties do you mean club events? Or specifically parties?

It’s like any other night out, you fancy someone you go and chat but just because you are at a swinging club/party don’t expect anything.

I’d guess most people leave clubs having not played but enjoyed the overall experience.
