I get my back and chest waxed. It gets easier over time.
My issue with waxing down below is you get one week max of being smooth and then it's coming out again and you get lots of small pins until the hair is out. You need it to grow before it can be waxed again.
So a quick shave every other day does down below.
Waxing will make the hairs finer over time.
I've never had the nerve to wax below! I'd like to get it lasered and gone forever! |

"It gets easier, although having said that I didn't find it particularly painful. That said, it's a hair removal session, so I suspect it's unlikely that you'd get overly excited "
That is what scares me off a bit and also the fact that I ll become hard!!! ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

No chance you'll get hard unless your into some weird pain niche.
I've had downstairs done for a while and I would say that the pain depends on a number of things. One being how long your pubes are given you're leaving 4-6 weeks between waxes.
Also, for me the pulling of the wax doesn't hurt as that's no more than a couple of seconds and then you're tender but not in pain. For me the pain is when after the wax is applied, the therapist has to peel off an edge (think taking a sticker off a piece of paper). That's a pinchy pulling sensation that is quite sharp.
But, having said all that, it's worth it for the result. |

I did training for waxing so hubby was also my guinea pig and has had everything waxed by me.
By far the worst he said was the chest.
He falls asleep when having his back done, Laughs at arm pits and butt done. Other parts like, arms, legs and pubic area is like mehh |

What's the crease between your groin and hip called? That for me is the worst. And the regrowth is a pain too.
Therapist did it herself without my knowing/ asking and that made me scream a bit!
Had my crack done once. A very vulnerable position! |

I’ve had it regularly done, it stings a little immediately after the wax is removed but it’s not overly painful. The initial application of the wax can be uncomfortable as it’s hot liquid wax. The results are great and after a few times the regrowth of hair is finer.
Not had an issue getting hard as it’s all very professional. |

Had my back and crack done before, it isn't too bad. Can't wrap my head around getting my scrote done though, it's the looseness of the skin, when I picture it I picture a world of hell. It's a shame because the smoothness from waxing is unsurpassed |

Had it done several times, groin and crack. The first tug is always a bit of a sting surprise but then you get used to it, although naturally the area around the base of the shaft is super sensitive! Not a chance of getting hard - in any case, the therapist is there to do a professional job so it doesn’t cross my mind. Mr. |
