Come on, seriously WTAF with AI & some of the easily accessible filter apps now on the market what makes people use filtered pics on their profiles, they may make you feel confident & look great but that will all go to shit if & when you meet the potential playmates you've been chatting with & you're nothing like your pics & everyone's times just been wasted...just be honest

Totally agree. Looking 18 in your pics when you are 45 is crazy

Good post OP.I think people feel the need sometimes to feel good about themselves. We are human. We feel imperfect. We see others that look hotter, younger, sexier. I love when people feel at ease and comfortable with their bodies, and I wish I could be like them. That's the real beauty. So until we can all be like that, I get that some people feel the temptation to try the photo filters. And yes, when them meet you, and they look nothing like in their filtered photos, then it's up to you to give them a chance beyond their looks and get to know them and maybe you like them or you don't. But those filters gave them a chance at meeting you OP, because they liked you, the unfiltered you, and that can't be a bad thing.

If you use a de-aging filter, does it actually make you look like you when you were younger, or someone else? Never used one myself….I’m too old to understand how it works!

We'll have to agree to disagree on this one then lol, we're not hardened swingers & want to shagnour way through fab, & as fickle as it may sound for us it starts with a physical attraction, which after meeting may develop like most couples looking for other couples into a playdate & long term friendship- that can't be achieved if the meet is a set up on a lie & deceit

Not every person on Fab has a desire or the intention to meet. Some like to reside and thrive on here for the purposes of chat, platonic interactions and to participate in the forå.

Therefore their 'filtered' photos are just a façade for their profile.

And for those looking for 'more' — it's their prerogative to do what they please on their profile. It's their business.

If I come across a woman's profile with bunny ears or stickers emblazoned across their photos, I just bypass them and ignore.
