No, they don't know. Even if I did bring it up to them through conversation one day, I think they'd genuinely be weirded out or even possibly mortified. They're people you could definitely class as more 'traditional'. |

Yes all our family knows and friends it’s was a bit hard to hard when bbc Tv puts your full face on TV they was supposed to hurt my face but they never did and some of my family was watching the TV programme about swingers at lachamber at the time it was not funny but now I look back and laugh at it the good thing is that they never showed my wife face 
So it wasn’t us who told me it was the BBC then my auntie who was watching it told all my family. Luckily my wife, mum and dad do not know. |

Some friends do.
Sometimes if someone asks as to what I am doing on the weekend I will reply,
,"probably go next door and see if the neighbours are up for some swinging " or "might go out Saturday and try my luck on the dogging sites"....
Both answers normally get dismissed with a chuckle...that in turn always makes me smile |

That’s absolutely terrible of the BBC to do that, I reckon you had strong grounds to sue them for that. If you didn’t sign a waiver to say you’re happy for them to show your face on tv then they are legally bound to hide your face. That applies to anyone in any situation as well, not just ones that will expose a secret if they’re recognised.
They still have the footage and will have a record of who signed waivers that day so you may be still be able to put a claim in for it. Worth looking into anyway |

Ok, sounds like you have a very open and relaxed relationship with your mom. How old were you when this happened? I’m guessing late teens/early 20’s. Most mom’s would be shocked if their son said that to them at any age but especially so at that age, and most sons at that age would tell their mom a little white lie to cover up the fact they’d been out swinging (or on a one night stand like you initially said).

I live with my early 20s daughter. We’ve always had an open frank relationship. When I was bringing lots of women home she thought I was just getting back into dating. When she asked me why they never went further I was honest and told her. She asked lots of questions ina non judegemental way. Turns out she was interested in the lifestyle and has since started swinging herself. So yes we both know about each other! |

It's not a secret and it's not something we go out of our way to tell family. I mean after all do vanilla people go about telling family about their sex lives? So some know, we're not ashamed of what we do and it's no big deal. |

Yes both my daughters who are in their 30’s know because I told them I swing. It’s not something they are interested in doing but I think they are amused that I do. Although I never have or would discuss any details with them. We have a great relationship & often go clubbing together with their husbands, have been to Ibiza with the girls when I split from my last partner. We had a great time & went to all the big clubs dancing into the early hours & getting home as people were going to work in the morning lol |

None of my immediate family know I swing,but one of my aunt's does.she was married to my mum's brother but they got divorced.she is now in her late 60s but about 10 years ago I bumped into her in a club with her new husband.bit of a shock for both of us but we got chatting and I even had a bit of fun with her on and off for a few years |

My brother and his wife.
He knew all along what I’d got up to with my ex wife and as a single male. When he and his wife started to get into swinging he told her about me , unknown to me.
Then at one point she openly propositioned me about it - they had done some MFFs with females they’d met online and one couple swap, now they wanted a MFF and she didn’t want a random male she wanted someone she trusted and ‘as you are experienced, I like you, I fancy you and I trust you it makes sense for it to be you’ or words to that effect.
Took a little while to get head around it but eventually we went ahead with it and it was fantastic. So much so, it was a semi regular thing for the next two years, until I started a new relationship and we stopped what we were doing.
Never gone back to it, but they know some of my history and I know some of theirs.
