I’ve worked in loads of offices during my working life, and have visited many, many more….I’ve never once been anywhere that has a ‘photocopy room’….I’ve never seen a photocopier located anywhere other than in the same room as where all the workers are sat. Why is there a need to dedicate an entire room just for the photocopier? |

I have worked in organisations with a photocopying room albeit years ago when there was one copied for everyone.
Mr N and I met at work nearly 43 years ago. Whether that's a good thing or serves as a warning to be very careful depends on your point of view  |

I used to work in an industry where it was rife!
I had a relationship with a colleague, where we had to entertain clients in the evening .. we used to pull over on the way home and had lovely fun in the car … or elsewhere if staying over!!
I had a fling with another colleague …. Who turned out to be a complete bunny boiler!! … never again!

My current workplace office, when I’m there, has 6 large photocopiers. Two are in an alcove/walkway on the main floor. The other 4 are in pairs in dedicated rooms off the main office. Why is that strange?

In my late 20s/early 30s I had fun with 4 different female colleagues, at varying times, and some of that fun in the office itself. Unfortunately, subsequent workplaces have been less eventful due to an absence of prospective partners, which is probably why I joined fab in the first place.  |

I am similar age to OP and remember photocopier room - it was small room with fax, copier, shredder, few stationary supplies, etc. This was in the finance industry. I think the purpose was two-fold - they were big machines so needed wall space and they were noisy when doing long print runs so the door helped.
. Actually recently met a lady who was a young secretary where I worked straight out of university. She told her boss (who is quite a well-known person in the City still) used to come up behind her when she was in the photocopier room, close the door and slide his hand inside her knickers. She was too scared to say anything. It was going on right behind my desk pretty much. |

Several times.
I once ended up having a fmf 3 some with my much younger female boss and my counterpart.

Worked in a call centre years ago where after about 6:00 p.m. there were only a female colleague and myself working. Coworker sex although frowned upon happens way more than what people appreciate. For me, yes I work in health care and have had casual sex with a "few" health care professionals. Well it has a seperate room because there were 100 ppl in the building so where the fuck should it go. Maybe in the accounts payable dept or maybe HR, naybe in the kitchen. |
