We really want to host a small (8 people max) house party, but having never been to one we’re wondering on the best format.
Should we limit to couples only or do you find a couple of singles in the mix works better? Should we provide food, condoms etc? Should we think of games?
Any tips would be welcome xx |

Get the game twister, it is a great ice breaker.
I would say try and get even amounts of singles as well as couples, that is for the couple who do want a single guy 3some and then other singles can couple up!
Also, do a truth or dare game with questions already prepared.
and most of all HAVE FUN................. |

I have run some small parties. Top tip have an in person social with every guest beforehand. You will get a feel if they will gel with the other guests and if they are prepared to come to a social they are highly likely to turn up on the night. |

I have attended house parties. My advice is to ensure the people invited attend and don't come up with a lame excuse on the day. Everyone attending to bring nibbles/drinks and most important to respect the property. I would love to help help out if invited. |

If you're supplying condoms, wipes and bins the very least the guests can do is bring a bottle. I wouldn't turn up to a party empty handed.
Socials first with each is a great suggestion. More effort but saves three of you sitting around all night wondering where everyone else is when they don't show. |

We have only held 1 house party a few years ago. We had a mix of couples, a couple of singles guys and 1 single woman. All we did was get a few drinks in, a few nibbles etc, had a couple of games planned but in the end everyone just stood around chatting before any play started.
Would love to hold another party but the kids refuse to go out!!! Instead we get kicked out?
