Think we've all been sat waiting like a lemon for someone that hasn't bothered to show, or even bothered to let you know.
It's not right but we've learned to give a set amount of time after the arranged time, then just go off and do something on our own.

I was contacted by a couple Thursday he was 60 she was 27, and reverse search showed she was a Spanish model !
I Didn’t let on for ages but then suggested we go for a tapas and then a siesta, and other Spanish related comments.
Went to work and he’d left fab, won’t say they left as she was obviously in his imagination

Out of curiosity: did they have verifications? I’m asking because it’s mind boggling the number of couple profiles that have verifications (sometimes north of 10), and yet use pictures that clearly aren’t theirs (Google reverse image search FTW). |

I wouldn't rely on verifications as being the panacea here. Have a look at the New Couples, New Women, New Men search options and see how many are verified within minutes of joining!!!
You unfortunately need to look out for lots of things and use instinct. And even at that, it's still not perfect. |

Yeah, a lot of (new) profiles are such obvious fakes. Pictures snatched from the internet + as you said: verifications dropping within the first hour  not publishing verifications is also a big red flag. |

Sorry got bored half way through , realised only repeating myself about fake couples and it single males like myself that get slagged off , bu5 I’m unlike most males on here am a polite perv and respectful in chat and when I message other , don’t do any good but o well |

It's happened to us fairly often more recenlty, this site isnt as reliable as it used to be: despite arranging with someone with good verifications, 16 years of experience and a pretty good judge of character we still get let down.
My only explanation is sometimes people just like to talk about it with no intention of going through with anything. |
