I love a blether though if I don’t know someone already they would have to have an inviting and friendly looking profile regarding pics and profile info. If someone can’t be bothered making an effort with their profile it makes me think they can’t be bothered with chatting etc. or that it’s going to end up being that boring “how’s your/what you up to/what you wearing” type chat that just makes me want to go blahhhhhhhhh |

"You’re in the wrong place for chat my friend. This place is for teh sex no I don't think so most ladies ignore me"
It can depend on your introductory message and how informative your profile is when they click on to check out who is messaging. |

"Hi how's u nice to meet u"
.
A lot of people do do this, so straight up..
If you are keeping it this short I'd just do 'Hi, nice..'' etc. If it's before they've made any contact at all 'nice to meet you' *might* sound a bit presumptuous, ie before actually speaking to someone (even with the often-open profiles on Fab!).
Also the 'u' thing is too casual for a lot of people on Fab (I guess you'll know your audience better than me though) - some will delete on site, esp if they have some choice in what to consider that day (which women often do of course).
Unfortunately there is probably no great 'set' way of introducing ourselves on Fab. If I haven't spoken to someone at all I tend to riff of heir profile. Unless I'm just 'speculating' because I think they might like my vitals, picture and profile - I might just wink, fab and simply say 'hi' in that case. But it always depends.

If we received this as a message it would just go straight in the bin. It says nothing. It has no personality or humour. It doesn't suggest an ability to hold a conversation. It gives us no reason to want to talk to the sender. |

Plus most of us look at the message sender's profile, before reading the message.
OP - you could potentially learn a bit from threads made by other single men, because they don't get enough replies. You may find some good advice, that might help you out too |
