So I was looking to buy so lingerie for a female friend and came across this website where a thong/g-string cost £300 the bra was £460. Which got me thinking, what’s the most anyone on here has paid for lingerie and was it worth it?
Let me know.
Oh, I did buy it and it looked amazing on. |

Absolutely no where near that price.. when we lived in Newport they had an Ann Summers discount store in the city centre which was always full of absolute bargains.. |

The price tag means nothing.
It's about the style, cut, shape that fits the body not the £400 price tag. You just pay for the name.
I've tried on undies that cost £200+ and the cut etc didn't fit well on me and didn't flatter my body shape.
The most I've spent is around £50, these fit/suit me very well and very good quality.

We've never spent that much on individual items but my lingerie collection represents a considerable investment.
Considering how much people are prepared to spend on the transient pleasures of alcohol and tobacco I think choosing to spend money on something that will give pleasure over and over can only be a good thing. I hope you had many hours of pleasure from the items op. |

"Oh lots of hours and hopefully a lot more "
Good.
I tend to look at any clothes in terms of cost per wear. If I buy an inexpensive coat for instance it will probably only last one winter possibly two. One I can wear for ten years will probably represent better value.
I understood that very well in the days when I could only afford inexpensive clothes. |
