Because it is easier to meet someone of a similar mind if your both into the lifestyle.
People use fab for lots of different reasons and ways.

As only a small percentage of the UK singles population are interested in the lifestyle then it makes perfect sense to search here.
Why go on 20 dates to find 1 person who has an interest in the lifestyle and have all those awkward conversations when you can come here, chat with 20 people knowing that all 20 will be into the lifestyle in some way.
It's a little like going to a resteraunt and hoping they have chow mein on the menu when across the street is an all you can eat Chinese buffet. |

Meeting someone in the lifestyle I get that. But meeting someone in the lifestyle and then wanting to be exclusive? That makes no sense, in that case dating sites are a better option. |

I'm not here looking for a relationship, I'm here seeking sex with like minded people. However I need a connection, even a basic one. Which requires a little effort to get to know people.
I think you forget that woman don't have to drop they're knickers the minute there asked. Just because it's a swinging site.

We met via fabs almost 3 years ago now, living with each other now and loving each other. Yes ( hence on fabs ) we both enjoy both the social and saucy / kinky life choice that swing gives us, meeting and playing with many people. We have both vanilla and swing adventure holidays , vanilla hobbies and trips to the supermarket ( domestic bits ) fabs has worked for us . |

We met on here as singles 9 years ago and now we’re married with kids. Love can be found anywhere and making out there’s no place for it on fab is a bit ignorant.
As others have said finding a partner that’s into this lifestyle would be really tough on dating apps and sites. If people find love on here then it should be celebrated!

I know plenty of people that have met thru fab and are in loving relationships. It does happen.
If you can find someone in the lifestyle that wants the same thing as you thats great.
Everyone uses fab for different reasons no need to throw shade on them it’s cringey. |

People can join looking for whatever they want.
Singles who just want a quick fuck. Singles who want an open or exclusive relationship. Couples who want a unicorn to fuck or a long term third or other couples to swap with short or long term. Singles looking for fun while actively seeking a proper relationship elsewhere.
No one is going to be compatible with everyone. Doesn't mean they shouldn't be here. |

Who made you head boy? Let people do what they want! As others have said - some people want a ONS, some a FWB, some a LTR. Just match with the people who has same interests as you do and let the rest be. Geeze. So many people on here who want to tell others what to do or not! |

That isn't my experience. Perhaps it is just seeking a connection with someone. I tend to find it easier if we have chatted and built up a chemistry before hand. Plus generally any playtime tends to get better the more comfortable you get with each other in my experience |

Surely you want to be with someone who you can be completely open with and supports you in all aspects in life including your sexual desires and/or kinks? Surely if you're a swinger you want to be ideally with someone who wants to share that with you or at the very least is supportive of you enjoying the lifestyle with others?
I think part of the problem (possibly more so with many single guys on here) is that many veiw the sole purpose of this site as a hook up site. They see its sole reason is to find people to have sex with. However this site is far more than just that. It's a lifestyle site. A place where people can also do stuff like find out information, chat about lifestyle issues, find parties and dare I say look to date and find relationships within in scene. A huge part of swinging is about couples and relationships. We see the frustration of guys who just want NSA hook ups and do find enough women on here for that. But I'm afraid they're just going to have to accept some of the women on here are looking to explore scene within the terms of a relationship and thus using this as the most suitable lifestyle site to find that. |
