Haha, I saw this and commented on it!
He's built it up in his head and had lots of unrealistic expectafions. She had none.
He went home disappointed because his expectations weren't met. She, ah, had different results.
So many try to dive in at the deep end and so many done even understand the many ways it works, and the even more ways it doesn't.
Our car crash coming from kink to swinging was going from being found (honestly!) by a unicorn to being told by her (about 3 weeks later) that we were in a balanced poly triad...
That took quite a bit of defusing, I can tell you. |
