I met a couple recently who were new to swinging and wanted to take things really slowly and softly. Compared to my previous experiences that they'd asked about, they thought I'd find it 'a waste of time' meeting, but we spent a couple of hours playing and I had the most fun and erotic meet in a long time 
It was a good reminder for me that ticking all the boxes and positions doesn't make for the best meet. Anyone else relate to that? Is swinging often too full on, rather than taking more time to enjoy the build up? |

I don't know about how other people do things. I think if you read the forums it's easy to believe that everyone (who's actually meeting) is having porn style sex or that a meet is oral, penetration, order an uber. Its very easy to think that's how it should be done and forget the pleasure that can be had from leisurely exploring each other. |

Yes. I wouldn't say I'm a swinger but I love the soft eroticism of meeting someone and lots of kissing. Without penetration. Maybe oral but... the sort of unhurried, enjoyable soft swinging I think it's called? And dryhumping (although I wish there was a better term for it).
I don't need to have penetrative sex to enjoy meeting someone and it's nice when tension can build and be explored slowly. |

Exactly. Of the few meets I've had, most have been the former, so the latest one was a very welcome contrast. I want some leisurely exploring next time too |

I certainly see the appeal of soft swinging, which is mostly what happened on that last meet, as expected. Things went a bit further than soft swinging, but that was even better because of the build up and it wasn't the 'target' that everyone was aiming for. |
