It depends. Verbal play I'm not so great at. My mind becomes overwhelmed with the visual, mental and physical sensations and I move into a lower verbal state.
That's not to say I can't talk, but definitely less.
On the other hand, visceral moans of pleasure I absolutely cannot stop. Especially during orgasm I almost go feral  |

I like to hear some kind of vocal appreciation. Silence is just off putting from any gender.
I met a woman some years ago and she didn’t move or make a sound (yes, she was still breathing!)
Afterwards she said she’d had an amazing time but it really dented my confidence.
Luckily it hasn’t happened since.
Each to their own but I like noisy!  |

Honestly, I prefer quiet. When a person sounds like they're getting open heart surgery without anaesthetic I start to get concerned. When they're quiet I do prefer it as I can just relax and not laugh because when people moan I can't help but laugh because it sounds forced and comical. If the person lets out soft moans then I know I've done my job! I don't make sound because to me it would just be cringe. |

Am quite vocal when the Mrs is going down on me.

I love to hear a woman moan during my encounters, it let's me know what works and what doesn't so much. With that in mind I tend to do the same, it was natural really and makes the entire experience better for everyone. I don't really like over the top outlandish screaming for the sake of it though, it comes across as false.
