Do you ever get into a situation where you’re talking to Vannilla people who think they’re gonna shock you with something sexual? On Saturday night I was working behind the bar at my favourite pub when it was karaoke night. A group of five decided to sing a song (badly), when one of the guys said to me “I bet you’ve never seen a fivesome before?”
What I wanted to say was,
“I have had several orgies”

On dating apps I don’t want to get into talking about sex straight away, cos I’d be looking to start a different kind of relationship there, so I got called a prude and vanilla and inexperienced etc. They have no idea. |

I’m going out with a lovely friend tonight for dinner. I do go out shopping, but this is different. It will be my first time in doing this, in spending a significant amount of time in single place, in a ‘vanilla’ environment.
I am excited, but equally terrified at drawing attention to myself, and being stared at. This is in the country, so hardly cosmopolitan!!

Tbh we find fab a very vanilla place in the grand scheme. We have been told we are sick, wrong and damn right disgusting over messages from some. Now for us that made us smile and kinda proud but I think it was meant as an insult  |

Reminds me of a recent occasion when I met a younger friend of mine who told me he was in a polyamorous relationship. I said I'd like to talk about that and that two of my three marriages had been non-monogamous -that made his jaw drop!

When asked the normal Monday morning question "have a good weekend, do anything exciting" I responded with "Oh you know nothing much, took part in an orgy on Saturday night and had a quiet Sunday watching the football on TV."
The rest of the office just laughed and then unbelievable asked who was playing in the football.
The thing was the orgy part was true but the football was not as we had travelled home from the party on Sunday  |

Mrs innocent here  I always prefer to listen and smile at those that have no idea
It’s got to the point now that this is the normal way of being and thinking ,I forget that others lead a very boring sex life, granted you can still have an amazing sex life with just two but when the door is open and more can be added why not  |

yea for sure, sometimes it's best to keep quiet unless the opportunity to open up more presents itself. definitely after you've experienced some things, it makes the vanilla stuff feel bland I get that. |

In previous job whenever the subject of swinging or kinks came up in the office I just used to keep my head down and not comment.

C was at an all female play event in a sauna in London and myself and another guy who’s partner was at the same party, were in a pub round the corner (we’d agreed to pick the girls up afterwards).
We got chatting to a guy who was showing off about his women conquests - he then asked us why us two were in London.
