The parties we usually attend are big, 10-20 couples, so no need for games to break the ice. People socialise, drink, then sweet mayhem and debauchery upstairs.

In small gatherings, I recommend "Naughty Jenga" as an ice breaker. People can join or not, and try one pull luck or many pulls... works well.
