Just a thought ... does anyone get successful meets off the 'meet today' thingy?
If you do use it do you add yourself and then sit back and wait for the replies to roll in, or do you hit on everyone on the meet today in the hopes of?  |

we add a meet and see what happens, we do also use it to send mesasges etc.
But depends on what you are looking for and als owhat you do.
As i ( sue ) only soft swing with guys, but love fem on fem.
We find that alot of the time people do not read the profile fully and end up with yep we will meet. ( you think great ) then a couple hours before you get sorry can't today. Generally they found so one else to full swing with.
I will still use the meet today, but very wary when people send use mesages.

I have a peek ....... put in the age, sex, region etc to make a selection ...
It comes up with .....a fat bellied shaving rashed fannied witch .... a gnarly cocked old tramp and a rather nice looking border collie in my area.
I tend not to message them. ORRRRRRRR it comes up with some Adonis' that don't want old dollies like me so I drool n forge on.
I put me on .....and HEY Presto! I don't have time to meet cos I become Postmaster General of the no thanks Deptartment cos my in box gets stuffed.
I'd use it again  I find being a single woman enough to get attention.

Think quite a few put on a meet today just to show that they are actively looking for some fun and are seeing if others reply to arrange for a later date.
We have sometimes used meet today with intention of 24-48hour meet but ended up in a meet several weeks away.

We post on there all the time, occasionally we are successfull but not often, soemtimes we state the date we are available so there is advance notice for people sometimes we use it for "instant" meets.
We tend to be on there all the time because we are available almost all of the time but unfortunately not all the people we like to meet are, so yes we may be on for the next 7 days but that doesn't mean we have found anyone during that time which is why we stay on there.  |

Serious reply.
Write your profile without text speak, add a pic of some sort, and take out the stuff about hostility.
Then, get stuck into chat, or the forum.
Attend a social, be polite & be patient.
Come back and whinge if the above hasn't worked out for you in six months.
And I'll perosnally give you your money back. |

I only meant the amount he's paid thus far, but we're only talking £30 - how likely is it that he
a) follows the above (espcially the patience thing which is already out the window once),
b) gets nowhere doing so,
c) pays 6 times if he's getting nowhere?
I think I could probably afford to give him odds...
