Seeing a great profile, nearby and online.. yay..

Writing a fantastic, well thought out and witty opening message, read it back.. “ yeah good to go” press send and…

“Last online 5 minutes ago”

Message totally lost in the fab ether..

Does it matter if they read it then or later?

"Does it matter if they read it then or later?"

Well if it’s read at all would be nice..

I can imagine some profiles get 100’s of messages, I like to think mine are above average.. who knows?

If they're above average they'll stand out when they do get read whether it's now or later.

I think he means more so that you know the message will probably disappear under the 100s of messages that profile will get before they come online again so chances of it being read do go down exponentially

Although I have found that with good well written and well thought out messages they do usually get read even in this scenario

Well the eternal optimist in me hopes that is the case.. not moaning.. it’s just the ‘doh’ moment when you see they’ve gone offline - maybe a quicker punchier first message works better?

So, make it more like the rest do the chaff?

I’ve tried both but haven’t really noticed a difference. Maybe the key is to write a punchy subject then a well thought out message underneath. Although it’s not easy always coming up with a witty subject to use haha

Yeah I try and make the subject title funny and/ or witty relevant (well to me anyway) but I totally agree with you - I’d prefer them to read the message in the same decade as I wrote it..

The message was most likely within a pile moment to sent it regardless if online 5 or 2 minutes ago

Try a few different styles and put in your share of the work. That’s All you can do. It’s like dating if it works great, if not don’t dwell just move along.

Some other common frustrations I hear on here:

One word replies: Hi, yes, mmmm, sexy cock.

Or they won’t send pic even though you’ve sent yours as requested but they still want to meet up and fk lol.

Write the message, copy it, delete then scroll back to see if they are online. If not save it somewhere else and send it later. E

Good idea for the OP.

Many forget that it's possible to add notes to a profile. Perfect place to write your draft then send when you think the moment is right.

to be fair we tend to ignore/delete messages from single guys that have no face picture and/or dont use our header request so that we know that the profile has actually been read.

Yes. Trying to open a bin bag can be much more frustrating than that.

Reading

I have sent messages that stay yellow for weeks. Then are read. Some then say deleted . Others stay read but no reply. Yes have then had message from who sent / read weeks after that. So very hard to work out if message read when sent and then put as unread ?

Now if read , not deleted think may be interested . If read deleted not interested ?
